OMG you guys I am like one of the BIGGEST fans of SNL!!! That is my show!! I have so many tapes of my favorite episodes and "the best of...." tapes of past cast members. I even have a notebook I made of every episode I've seen from every year. And every time a new episode premieres I write it in that notebook!! Yes, I'm obsessed with SNL. Oh, my first love Dwight Yoakam was the musical guest back in April of 1994 and that episode came on the other day and I got to record it! I was so excited about that! He was wearing black leather pants that were skintight and....ummm..yeah..this is Cillian's site, not Dwight's. Ok. Sorry. Got distracted there for a moment!!
I think Cillian would make a great host. He does seem a little shy and doesn't seem like the kind of celebrity who would do that but if he ever did it would be a great show. Oh, and a skit of Red Eye would be so awesome!! I am so in love with that movie. *sigh*.
I'm glad y'all mentioned this! Too cool!!

no,no,no! (no disrespect for you, LaTissa, btw LOL)
I would lose so much respect for him, if he did. I don't think it's his style anyway. But, I don't want to see him ever do that, especially the SNL of today (which is terribly bad, my opinion only!)

hmm *thinks about if for a sec* actually I think he would do it. I mean when you are a rising star you can't exactly refuse SNL...that would be bogus so yeah I think he would be good on it if they invited him.

He has said that he hates chat shows (talk shows) and things of that nature. So yeah, I would see him refusing SNL.
Besides, not every star has done SNL, so I think it's completely possible to do so.

I mean sure it's hollywood but come on, it's SNL!

I see him as a star already (non-hollywood, thank gawd), who doesn't need it. In fact, he may get more respect for not doing such stuff.
Okay, I'll give you this, if he did the old SNL when it was actually funny, then yeah, it maybe would've worked. I would fear him bombing terribly and I've seen actors do it lately. I feel bad for them sometimes. *not bashing your opinion in any way, it's not my style, btw*

LOL!
I think b/c I've SNL in it's heyday (when it was hilarious). But, I detest it now it goes for easy laughs now (e.g. bodily functions, etc)instead of working hard to be funny.
It's cool, though, that we agree on some things. Wouldn't it be great if the world acted like us?

Haha comprimise and agreement, lol are what I find can make the world understand one another, anyways, yeah I totally felt the same way about mad tv. Used to think it was funny, then they got these new actors and the old ones are barely holdin on. Lol the crap has hit the fan and it's pure fart jokes now ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png)
