f*ck... I wanna see that play ! But I can't... the date's too early for my holiday plans... Is there a possibility that a play gets caught (officially !) on video, available to buy ? Would be nice.

I thought his play wouldn't be until later this summer. Sorry Zombie, was really hoping you could go. So then, who will be going to this shindig?

I'm so tempted to dig into my savings and go on this trip, but the timing couldn't be any worse for me. Unfortunately, with college starting in September, I'm afraid I have to hold on to as much money as I can. I'm really hoping Cillian will do more theatre in the future. It would have been amazing to see him, especially in a one-man show. You can't have it all, I guess. For those who will see him, have a blast, can't wait to hear all about it!

Thanks for the info Mitzi. Hopefully one of these days I'll be able to click on those links and order tickets to see Cillian in a play, but I'm afraid that will not happen anytime soon. I don't even want to go through the mess getting a new passport anyway because of my dumb name.

Hmmm I may try and go to it. It'll depend on funds and whether my brother wants to go too and holidays from work.....It depends on a lot of factors right now actually! But i'd hate to miss this, i doubt the opportunity will come around very often.

I'll take your ticket Ikklehen, but do you have a spare plane ticket for me as well? I hope you have fun and please do come back to the forum and tell us about the show. I love hearing details. Have you been to any of Cillian's plays in the past?

I'm going been waiting to see this man in a play for over 4 years just timing and places stopped any other attempts. This one looks like a totally indulgent piece of work to lose yourself in as the actor (Cillian) or as a member of the audience. I'm kinda going on my own so far and I have a spare ticket too at the moment. Let me know if anyone of ya is coming along, I'm gonna see the last performance on the 24th July. <3 <3 <3 Looks like I'll be there a week ahead of you, ikklehen! I've got tickets for three shows on the 16th and 17th (though, depending on the bus service from the Shannon airport, that matinee might be cutting it a little close). Another pop-in, pop-out trip. (Can't be upsetting the daysiders in The Pit by staying gone too long: covering for the Eternal Nightshifter riles their dainty constitutions. But, hey, after nearly twenty years in that place, I've earned my vacation time...!) I've now read the original version of the play. The dog in the photos: I still couldn't tell you what breed he is ("Heinz 57 with emphasis on terrier" is my guess), or whose dog he is in real life, but there's a dog called Roger described, if not actually onstage, in the play. (*** SPOILER AHEAD:***) And something baaaad happens to Roger....(By the way, disarm: no way could your dumb name be any dumber than my dumb name. Nope. Nuh-uh. Just learning that sucker, I knew how to read and I had three-quarters of the alphabet nailed before I started kindergarten. )

punctuator It's a dumb name because people make a big deal out of it and at times make me feel like a criminal.. See my legal name is Patricia, but I never went by that name, even my own mother never called me that. She named me Patricia because some Catholic thing and her mother wanted it that way. I always went by Tricia. Since Patricia is on my birth certificate, my old passport is the same. My license says tricia, like all debits, checks, and credit cards say. Back in '99 I went to London and I didn't have any problems, but it was kind of hard coming back. That was before 9/11, it will be 100x worse now. I understand if my name was spelt Trisha , but come on, it's just like jon and jonathan. P.S. I also worked 3rd shift for too many years, and ALWAYS when I wanted to take a vacation the 1st and 2nd shifters would have hissy fits. So screw them guys if they cause problems.
