Lovely interview! He seems so easy to interview actually... he's such a warm person!
The bird thing was kinda scary though...

Cillian's expression at the part with the seagull. ;D As if he was thinking: "Oh no... not the silly seagull story again..." Sweet!!

Speaking of the two-week American tour, I have to commend Cillian for standing by this movie, since it's largely taken a beating by the critics. Robert De Niro and Sigourney Weaver have been AWOL pratically from the beginning, which has left it up to him - along with Rodrigo, of course - to shoulder the burden of promoting the film. It's good to see him backing the project through thick and thin this time, rather than leaving it up to his co-stars to do the dirty work. It's a respectable stance to take, and I like it on him.

Totally agree. Unless the others are tied up with stuff, but it seems strange not to promote the film one bit during the promotional tour on their own turf! Rod & Cill were like two pioneers having immense fun. They are so charming together!

And regarding the fact that for Cillian doing promo and interview and stuff isn't a part of his job his into very much, it is even more respectable and admirable to see him bravely go through all of this.
