Sorry for my long absence, everyone. It's been a really insane year, with peaks and valleys the likes of which I've never experienced. I've had some amazingly unexpected, astoundingly good things occur which quite frankly sound like fanfiction come to life, lol. But also am now dealing with a very bad turn in my life on a personal front, which has been very daunting, so my internet activities have been drastically backburnered for now. You're all in my thoughts and I'm so glad many of you are still here.  I can see that it's been a struggle, considering the drought of Cillian-news, and it's nice that many of the regulars are still present and accounted for.  Miss you guys! |

And I really deeply appreciate that you took your time to visit the forum and spend some time with your fellow friends and members. We will be always there for you. *HUG* And - WOAH - Impeachy !!! We are here for you, your Extended Cillian Family ;D sending lots of love & encouragement your way. Peachy how are things going sweetie? I hope you are reaching some sense of normality. Lovely to hear from you! Razz I was stuck on an island, supposed to have been there for at least 7 months but I didn't like the way things were going personally & professionally. Long story but either way I am happy on the mainland now and enjoying watching my little business grow back from the brink of dispair!  ;D That explains my lack of posting here. Just not enough hours in the day! But I am still around.

Thanks for the concern. Things have gotten back to normal in our city last year, thank goodness. Our city and the people are back on their feet and we have "weathered the storm", so to speak. The good thing about it is that the people helped each other to move on and things are looking great now. We were all determined to rise again and that atmosphere of hope can be felt here, starting with a change in the leadership of the local government, as we just had our elections this Monday. Looking at the surface, it seems like nothing out of the ordinary even happened to our city, but I don't think we will ever forget the horror of that catastrophe and how surreal and unexpected it all was, like stuff that happens in movies. The good thing about all this, and what I realized, is that hope can be real and not just some dream about things to come. It can exist in the here an now.
Whew. That was a pretty serious topic. :-)
What really kept me away from the forum for so long is my new job. I changed jobs, and my new job kept me busy but feeling more fulfilled. Sounds trite, but I truly mean it. I was learning the ropes and all. Plus, I was busy being on the family way last year. My hormones were going haywire. LOL. :-)

Hi there everybody
Realising it's been months since I last posted here, and so thought I should drop in with an update. Wanted to let everybody know I've also not forgotten the community here. However, in short, life has become very complicated from my end . I wish I could say this was for positive reasons, but unfortunately it's not the case. It's pretty much down to ongoing family, health, unemployment and financial related problems. These were all personal issues for me when I first joined this site, but over time they've just become worse and I can see with the way things are going they're just going to continue to get worse - and this is likely going to start happening pretty soon in the not so far away future to the extent it's going to have some pretty seriously bad consequences for me.
Anyways, with everything going on, it's continued to be difficult for me to be able to commit much time to spending on this site - particularly as my offline problems are already taking up so much of my thoughts and time it's difficult for me to focus on much else.
Unfortunately I can't see this situation ending any time soon, and because of this - in all honesty - I am now at the point I'm thinking maybe it's best to delete my account.
It's been good to meet and chat with everybody I've met on here, and know you for the time I have. Wishing everybody who is part of the Cillian fan community here all the best. Take care.

It's nice to see a lot of you guys still here. Sometimes I worry that one day ill be gone to long from this forum and everyone will be gone! Hugs and kisses to all of you and I hope things get better for those of you having troubles! I send you all the best! I've still been keeping up with Cillian as much as I can. He seems to be very active these days, which I'm glad! I wish some of his recent movies would come out on DVD sooner! Anyways I know I haven't been posting that much this year, just letting you all know I'm still alive. Lol |

@emma286: I wish I could give you a hug...if there was some way you could read this, I sincerely hope and pray that you can get through this difficult time in your life to make you stronger and better. I hope things will get better for you and your family. It's sad to see that you've deleted your account after you were such a fantastic and friendly mod here on the forum. Here's hoping you'll come back to the forum one day, or maybe just drop by to say "hello." I also went through a very difficult and painful transition in my life last year that affected my family life, career and finances. We might not be going through the same thing, but I kind of understand how it is to go through difficult times. It was great to have met you here on the forum, emma...wishing you all the best as well and take good care of yourself. |
