This poll was a lot harder than I thought. It was difficult to choose! Eventually, I went with kitten heels because they're just darling on my petite feet. And Gracey, I think you know my current fascination with the 50's/60's look right now. Tomorrow at the concert, it's all goth.

My all time favourite item of footwear? Gracey, you'd love them, shame I don't have a photo - a pair of old 70's silver winkle pickers!

Difficult to drive in, but they are dead comfy & look great - don't wear them too often though, as I could never replace them.

Funniest shoes - managed to find some silver 4" platforms for a glam party a year or so ago - they are totally ridiculous and I'll probably never wear them again, but I love them. My whole office fell over laughing when I got back from lunch that day - "hey guys, wow, look what I just bought for the party this Saturday!"

Shoes are a touchy subject for me. I wear a size 11, and shoe stores generally stop selling at size 10. I have several pair of shoes that are sort of cute but way too small for me, so I avoid wearing them since they're so painful. I basically have a phobia of shoe shopping because it always just ends in me getting frustrated and usually crying. So I just wear the same pair of sneakers every day and a really ugly pair of black dress shoes (that are actually a little too big) when I have to teach classes. I really hate it. I'm actually not even sure what a kitten heel or a pump is. I just avoid shoes altogether.

I voted for ballet pumps. I just love them, I really go for comfort. I must say the Fu%$#*& boots were very funny, I know them as Joan Crawford hump me pumps. I only own one pair of kitten heels, they are cool to wear with jeans.... I love them too.
