Oh gosh it's hard picking out movies I want to bring with me when I move... I want to take each and every one of them... I have been sort of collecting DVD's the past 5 years so I have 3 full drawers... I know I am allowed to keep some in the attic here but I just can't pick what I'd like to stay behind... Yes all right, I am letting "Candy Man" behind because I have been freaked out by it since the first time I watched it and as a laugh before watching it I did the thing where you say 'Candy Man' 5 times in the mirror and then he comes and kills you...
I am NEVER seeing that movie again... NEVER, EVER

Guy number 8 on the same chat site just asked me to date him... Why are they like that??
But good news is that I'm invited to a Birthday party/Costume party next month with an 'Alice in Wonderland' theme and I quickly figured out my costume... The Queen of Hearts!
I had to laugh as I a day later realized my tattoos were perfect for that, the one below and the black and bloody heart on the other wrist

 So I'm innocently zapping around a little on my TV and then suddenly a marketing commercial thingy for a German TV channel pops up and then THIS guy !!!  Am I too obsessed with Dillinger that I see a certain ressemblence ?? But.... that background... the stripes ... and the J on his chest certainly stands for "Junior" doesn't it ? LMAO (f*ck ! Just wanna say that the heartbreaking news about the victims in Colorado has all shocked and saddened us. Just sending up love and healing to all who are involved. It really puts certain things into perspective especially that life is the ultimate gift, it is short and is very precious and often taken for granted.  |

A tragedy like that all too well highlights the trivialities in our lives, and reminds us of what's really important. Had to unplug yesterday. Life, indeed, is far too short. |

Who saw the Opening ceremony of the Olympics last night?
I had heard about Daniel Craig as James Bond would be picking up the queen and I was sure it was a joke... but that was SO epic!!

Ye know i didn't watch the ceremony cos it really didn't interest me. Much as i love Danny Boyle and i know it was this huge event, i just kept thinking "How many millions or billions did they spend on this load of fireworks to try and show off to the world, when there are billions starving in the world and they don't even have enough to buy some food to keep them alive. And when basically every 1st world country is in recession ad debt up to their eyeballs!" It makes no sense to me and just makes me kinda mad..... Anyway instead i watched 50/50 with my family- which is an amazing film, Joseph and Seth were just brilliant together  - and then we listened to Pearl Jam while the very end of the ceremony was on mute on the tv! You know what really annoyed me though? My friend text me in the middle of 50/50 and said "I hope you're watching this! 9 million people" or something like that. So i replied messing "Oh eh yeah sure.....Wouldn't miss it! " And she said "What? It's amazing!" and i told her i was watching 50/50 and she said "You can watch that any time. This is a global thing but whatever. Ttyl"  ? ? ? ? ? ? I mean she got pissed at me for not watching it! What the hell?! I believe i have freedom of choice.......i couldn't believe she said it in such a biatchy way....."ttyl"....i hate shorthand text speak!!! I mean am i being really blind here? Did i deserve that last message? |

LOL Razz! ;D just laugh it off, I mean there are far more important things than the FO (I'll leave you to decipher that abbreviation!) ;D for one, I don't own a TV, correction, I do, but it is stored in the closet LOL I refuse to pay for such crap, adverts, flashy brain numbing images, predictable soaps with dire acting, depressing news, reality TV full of attention seeking talentless false nobbers. It's just migraine city.  I used to love Film on 4 French films & VH1 classic but I can get that on my puter. Also, there is no real recession. There never was. I'll root you out a brill documentary on the monetary system and how it's as simple as wiping your arse to change the way money is distributed and made. It's amazing. Don't get me going on the hungry and homeless either! My vegan way of life is all about why we can change that so easily. I wont go on a mega rant about that here, just google it. Consumerism again. It's up to us! ;-* |
