The play was produced in Ireland and I'm sure it toured the U.K.

Playboy is a great play by J.M Synge, I highly recomend that you read it! I took an Irish literature class this past semester and read a lot of great Irish plays and short stories...it was a fantastic expiereince to go along with my growing love for Cillian!

i've been thinking about taking an Irish lit class. so far, all of the Irish authors that i've read have had a style that is unique and thoroughly enjoyable. "playboy" was no exception. i read it at work while @ the department of social services with a client, and it helped pass the time nicely. i could totally see Cill as Christy.

Ha ha, I'm glad I'm not the only one making the connection between Cillian and Irish lit classes. I'm taking Modern Irish Novels b/c BOP is on the booklist. At 8 in the morning. Only for Cillian.
