They annoy me sometimes. lol Wait, they gave RE 2 thumbs up, right? I have a feeling they're going to do the same for BoP. Like ^ said, they better. *glares*

Ebert gave BoP a very positive early review on his site, after seeing it at the Toronto festival, I believe. So I'm pretty sure he'll give it a thumbs up. I would be surprised if Roeper gave it a thumbs down.
There might be other movie review shows, too. I'll have to check out Hot Ticket; dunno if that's national or local, but it's a similar type of show. They rate movies Hot or Not. Leonard Maltin is the male reviewer, but I'm not familiar with the female reviewer.

I've never seen them do any kind of interview. They just show a brief clip from the movie, then discuss their opinions of its good or bad points, why they're recommending it or not. Sometimes they'll give the movie a thumbs down, reluctantly, because they like some elements of the movie but feel overall it's not something they can recommend. Sometimes they'll praise an actor even though they're panning a movie, or vice versa, but they're usually pretty respectful of actors.
I do plan on taping it and I have a dual-deck VCR, so I can make you a copy, Avoca, if you want one, no problem. In fact, I may tape it on both VCR machines at the same time, so that hopefully at least one will come out.

No prob. I just started another thread about possible BoP promotional stuff on other channels. There's something on the Independent Film Channel, though I don't know which show. I'm going to tape as much stuff as I can find, on any channel, and put it all on one tape; it'll be much easier to copy that way. I'd rather send out one tape than several with 5-minute segments. Hopefully people will post any other sightings so as many of us as possible can tape things for those who can't otherwise see them.

BTW, I just caught Ebert & Roeper as guests on the Tony Danza show, and threw a tape in just in case. They did *not* talk about BoP, though when TD asked about good upcoming movies they mentioned "Walk the Line" and showed a clip from it and talked about how terrific Joaquin Phoenix is in it , better than Jamie Foxx in "Ray". Johnny Cash is a god to me, but dang! I want to see Cillian! So, no joy, but I'm off to get some blank tapes so I'll be ready for whatever I can find.

Independent Film Channel isn't usually on basic cable. Yep, it's "At The IFC Center" that's playing now. They're talking about Kevin Bacon in "Where the Truth Lies" and I guess Keira Knightly in "Pride and Prejudice" but somewhere in there it looks like they'll talk about BoP.
ETA: Got it! Will transcribe the Cillian interview ASAP. It's the second movie they talk about maybe 10 minutes into the show, maybe 10 minutes at most. But Cillian looked even more gorgeous than usual, and his hair was perfect!!!! (Sorry, I have a long-hair fetish.)

I missed it? The one time I'm not watching IFC? Has anyone taped it that can miraculously upload it on here or is that what you were about to do stormy? I would be so indebted to you if you could!
