Yeah, I agree with most of the above, and Hans Gruber. Alan Rickman is so great at playing evil roles. I think one of the most evil guys I've ever seen is The Interrogator from "Closet Land". Did anyone else see that? So scary. I couldn't sit straight through it, I had to keep turing it off and doing something else, then going back. Heh, I should list that as my pick for Scariest Movie.

I always cheer for the villains, so it's a tough question, but....

Alan Rickmann as the Sheriff of Nottingham in Prince of Thieves takes the price. I can't watch the movie without hoping that this time he kills Robin Hood and get the girl (lady Marian)

Jackson Rippner - For somewhat obvious reasons...

Jonathan Crane - Seriously, Crane is a God to me. I'd fake insanity to be examined by him, if you know what I mean.

Hannibal Lecter - He's the coolest character ever. How can you not love a guy who kills child molesters and cannibalizes them? Besides, this was the role Anthony Hopkins was born to play.

Jack Spicer - Xiaolin Showdown is my biggest guilty pleasure right now. And Jack is just so cute and funny. He's refreshingly different from the badass and constantly serious villians I'm used to seeing. Yes, he's a goofy, mistake prone, whiny, self centred loser who wants to rule the world, but he's just so endearing.

Pyramid Head - Scary villain, but fun to watch. He's the coolest Silent Hill villain in the games (aside from Claudia).
