I haven't read through everyones posts (so I don't know if this was mentioned), but apparently there's a teeeny scene near the end of the credits. SO STAY TO WATCH. I never did, and now I had to read about what it was...it may make you more happier with the ending, but who's to say? I don't want to talk about it for spoilers...yet again.

You guys are gonna hate me but...
I saw it. And I didn't like it. None of my friends did either. It was boring (there were a few good humourous parts, but they were few and far between). I don't want to spoil it for anyone so all I'm going to say is that I was extremely disappointed with what they did with Jack in the first half of the film (it was so bad that I no longer found him attractive- and I LOVE Johnny). The fight scenes were ridiculously long. As were some parts of dialogue (which were also poor in quality and left a lot of loose ends- of which kids probably wouldn't understand)... Yeah, there were A LOT of restless kids in that cinema. I don't know whether people were clapping at the end because they genuinely liked it, or because they were glad it had finished. I don't mind long films, but I do mind them if the quality of them is poor- it would've been better if they had stretched it to 4 films!
It didn't help that the people in front of me were extremely annoying... I'm so used to empty cinemas with no children because I usually go when people are at school/work and I have free time off from college- and go to see good, underrated films, which have a higher age rating.
Btw, does anyone sense that Beckett is gay... He seems to get really close to Jack at some point. I reckon he's a eunuch! Hah.

I saw this on its second or third day of release. Sadly, like the second movie Dead Man's Chest, it was too long and plodding. They never address what happened in movie 2 (elizabeth killing jack or trying to etc), and the love triangle is completely ignored. And Depp's parts are corny with the eight versions of him running around. I don't know, no one I've asked has liked the movie at all.
BTW I saw the part after the credits because all of the newspapers in Chicago who reviewed the movie mentioned it. Not anything thrilling, though.
