Aww, my friend Kylie has been wanting to see it for ages (right now she's almost finished a three month tour of Europe so she wants to see it when she gets back) and if the original's better than this one, she'll be heartbroken! Oh well, hopefully Johnny Depp can make it happen for her!

Charlie and the Choc Factory must have really stuck with me because I keep dreaming about it. ....Or maybe it's just Johnny

johnny IS great. but for me this movie was... well, not worth wasting my money on. *im going to talk about the movie so dont read this if you dont want to know* i saw it with my friend who had already seen it three times and she loves it! but i just kind of sat there with an awed look on my face. it ruined charlie and the chocolate factory for me. i mean, THEY DIDNT EVEN SING THE OMPALUMPA SONG! and everything was just way too... !!!. i cant describe it with words. and though johnnys characters personality was cute. and he did do a good job playing it ( i actually liked the part in the begining when they watch the opening and he like giggles and claps after the little show thing gets set on fire). but mostly, he just shouted pedofile. it was... sad. i loved the original ever so much and now every time i think of ccf, i think of the same guy over and over and over again singing some crazy disco song about how the girl ate the chocolate or whatever! im glad you guys liked it though. the story is good. but this version was not. ( for me atleast)

I LUV WILLY WONKA! no but seriously it was a pretty good movie, if really weird but hey, if you put Tim Burton and Johnny depp together ull only get weird...there was good acting and humor...it still wasnt true to the book but one can't always have it their way

I personally like the original movie better! I love Johnny, but it was a bit too weird for my taste.
