I think Cillian said in some interview or other that everyone has options for two more movies. I don't know if that means they're contractually obligated if they don't want to do it, but I did read that the new movie isn't scheduled to come out till 2008. That's a long time to wait, but hopefully it will ensure that it's at least as good as BB was.

Yeah, on IMDB, it says 2008. It's probably that long because they still don't have many cast members confirmed.

I suggest to all of you that if you wanna get more accurate info on the Batman sequel, you should visit www.batman-on-film.com/batmovienews.html The owner of the site, Jett, knows some people who work on WB and he always has new info about the sequel. Scroll down and you'll see. There's no news on Scarecrow yet, but that site is amazing and you'll love it if you're a Bat-freak like me. ;D Enjoy! |

Thanks for the links...wondering if Christopher Nolan will return to direct? I'm very happy to see Goyer is penning this one as well, we know it will be a quality story. I think Cillian was trying to tease us all maybe a bit with that smirk, so hopefully he will be returning.
I remember watching reruns of Batman with Adam West on tv when I was younger. Batman is the superhero of all superheroes. He bleeds, has losses, has faults and still kicks more butt than the rest of them!
