So you two are both from the DC area?! Just to think that Ed was only a few miles from you on that day... Lucky! And Haley, how can your friend not know who Ed is?! He's only one of the greatest actors of his generation... Here's a link to some of the Ed Earth Day pics again; they're clickable and bigger : www.laineygossip.com/Edward_Norton_speaks_at_Earth_Day_rally_in_Washington.aspxHere's a link to a video of his Earth Day speech: youtube.com/watch?v=7lKHCwjtQM4 (Ed rocks!) Oh, I loved watching him on the Today Show. I liked how he was handing out bags in the beginning... I wanted one! I watched the Strange Days series last night and found it to be quite interesting and informative. Those poor birds eating plastic! Ed was great in it; I just love hearing his voice. He can say anything really, and it'll be music to my ears. Again, I just want to say that it's great that he's so strongly committed to environmental issues and to what he believes in.

Yeah, I go to the University of Maryland which is like 15 min from D.C. Grar, if I knew he was gonna be there I'd have stood there in the rain anyway. But yeah, it's good he cares a lot about the environment.

That movie looks sooo good! Ed looks gorgeous, of course, and Liv Tyler also looks very pretty. When does this movie come out?

Yup, saw the trailer before Iron Man. I'm not all that excited to see it. The only superhero movies I really like are the Batman movies. Nonetheless, Ed looks great, as does his acting.

Yup, saw the trailer before Iron Man. Oooh, how was Iron Man? I heard it fared pretty well with the critics (and at the box office). Eh, I'm not too much into superhero movies either. I wasn't into the Batman series until Christopher Nolan's re-envisionment came along. The past Batman movies were a bit cheesy to me. Anyway, I'm definitely not into the Hulk; if Ed wasn't in this one, I probably wouldn't see it, to be honest. I'm just really interested to see his take on the Hulk. I'm ready to be disappointed, if need be, though... I just realized June 13th is on a Friday! I'm not superstitious or anything, but still... crossing my fingers! And still excited!!

Yeah, the past Batman's were cheesy to me too, but I didn't really care because I was a kid when I saw them, haha. I'll still probably see The Incredible Hulk though even if I'm not that interested. I'll give it a shot.

Hopefully it'll turn out all right. If it turns out to be a real dud, I guess every actor will have his or her dud at least once in their career.

I haven't seen the trailer for The Hulk yet, I am sure the trailer is in here, I'll have to go back and look and watch it later, but for some reason I really want to see it. Maybe because I know Ed is going to be suppppperrrrr hot as the hulk and summer blockbusters are fun! The Incredible Hulk and Wanted, I can't wait!

Random Ed meanderings...I watched the Illusionist again last night. It has to be one of my favorites. I think he has better chemistry with the actress in The Painted Veil (don't know her name) but I really like this movie! It almost reminded me of Ocean's 11 when I first saw it... Can't wait for the Hulk Movie!

Can't wait for the Hulk Movie! I really liked The Illusionist, too. I loved the sepia cinematography, I loved the twist ending (didn't expect it at all!), and of course, Ed was absolutely fantastic in it! I liked it a whole lot better than The Prestige, the other magician film that was out that year. It was a surprisingly good movie. I have to agree with you, bookworm, about the chemistry. Although Jessica Biel was surprisingly not so bad in The Illusionist, I did not think she had the best chemistry with Ed. Somehow, I just didn't buy it. And yes, I thought he had excellent chemistry with Naomi Watts in The Painted Veil. Their performances were very nuanced, but I could feel their every tension and emotions through their facial expressions and everything. The awkwardness in the early stage of their relationship, the pain that Kitty felt toward Walter's coldness in the later stage of their relationship, the reignited love... Ed and Naomi were perfect in portraying all of that! Next to Fight Club, it's one of Ed's best performances to me. Oh, how I love this movie! It's so underrated. Yeah, I'm just a teensy bit obsessed with The Painted Veil. And ditto, can't wait for The Incredible Hulk!!!

We will definately have alot to giggle and moon over. After all, we arer all giddy school girls in love at heart! I agree rukia, that The Painted Veil is underrated and undervalued. I only saw it on the tv, and had no idea what it was untill i saw your sig and you talked about it. I would agree that everyone should find a copy and watch it!
