I've been reading rave reviews. Sadly its a limited release film so i won't be seeing it but i see its played at some festivals and if anyone has seen it, what did you think of it? It stars one of my fave actors, Jake Gyllenhaal.  |

I can't wait to see the film!!!  I read the book and it's just great, so yearning, so emotional.. LOVED IT! BB won venice film festival in sept. I have also read very positive reviews about it. I am looking so forward to see it!  |

I accidentally posted a new thread about this - thanks for pointing that out to me.
I just saw the trailer for this movie. I first saw the name at the Toronto Fil Festival site, where the link for BoP trailer actually linked to the trainler for BM.
The movie seems to be about Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal who are in a fairly primitive community each - and live for this one fishing trip they take (I am not sure how often or even if it's regularly) - but they are both gay, and totally in love. The way they play it (in the few seconds of trailer I saw) there was something very beautiful about it.
I know I am fairly pro-Gay to begin with, but I love these two playing such a controversial role - they do a magnificent job, it seems. I can't wait to see the movie when it comes out. Limited release still means in a few months, it should be available on Netflix so any of you who can't see it right now should watch out for that. They should possibly have the DVD in stores for sure. It might mean a delay in watching the movie, but better late than never....
I love Jake Gyllenhaal and the movie also has Michelle Williams (Dawson's Creek) as Heath's wife and Anne Hathaway (Priness Diaries) as jake's wife...
