Had to start this, too many Baleheads here not to have this thread!!!!!!!!!! I first saw Christian in NEWSIES in 5th grade, he was the first guy I ever liked, celebrity or otherwise, he was it! Have loved him since, I saw him as Jack Kelly/Francis Sullivan & was it was like an epiphany, I was like "I'm gonna marry that man!". To bad his wife beat me to it, all the good ones are taken! Anyways, I have pretty much seen all his movies, all the ones I can get my hands on. He's NEVER been in a bad film(though the New World was slow & did nothing for me till he came on the screen) & has NEVER delivered a bad performance in his life. The phrases "Bad acting" or "Poor performance" have never & will never be assoiciated with Christian Bales name, & if they are....I better not see it or I will get very angry! Ya don't diss Christian infront of me unless your in for a LONG, HEATED debate, fair warning people. He's been over looked & underappreciated for years by critics, course it's ok because he has long time, dedicated fans, Baleheads; such as myself. Ok, that's my speil. Post away, & if there's no response to this thread ya'll are liars cause I've seen the American Psyco & The Machinist threads, lol. Speaking of....*off to start something else*

I began liking Christian after seeing Equalibrium. His preformance in that movie was awesome I must say! But my first to like guy had to either been Johnny Depp because I grew up on his movies or Brendan Fraser because...Hell...He has a nice body. Lolz. But really Christian is an awesome actor! His parts he plays are always kewl and not one movie of his have I seen I have not liked.

I began liking Christian after seeing Equalibrium. His preformance in that movie was awesome I must say! But my first to like guy had to either been Johnny Depp because I grew up on his movies or Brendan Fraser because...Hell...He has a nice body. Lolz. But really Christian is an awesome actor! His parts he plays are always kewl and not one movie of his have I seen I have not liked. Si, Brendan Fraser yes. I first saw him in George of the Jungle in theaters, me, my sister, my friend & her mom were the only ones in the theater(it was awhile after it came out) & we were in the front row singing & dancing at the end credits to the theme song, lol. Twas fun. Johnny, I grew up on kinda without knowing. Like I'd seen Edward Scissorhands but I was like...8, & that's also round the time I saw Cry Baby & Whats Eating Gilbert Grape, & Benny&Joon come to think of it.....but I didn't care cause, well I was 8 & "was gonna marry Christian". |

I believe he's gonna be in that film about Bob Dylan called I'm Not There. It's directed by the same guy who did Velvet Goldmine..
I'm unsure how I feel about it.
But I did dig Christian in American Psycho.

Yeah he's gonna be in the Todd Haynes thing... Where whatsername is going to be playing Bob Dylan too. I thought "a girl?"  Christian Bale is pretty spiffy. I like him. |

Spiffy, yes he is! And I was gonna marry him....it was like an epiphany I swear. Then his wife came along & then they just had to have a beautiful baby girl. And then ya know Cillian's married & has a handsome baby boy....& Johnny Depp(not married & doesn't intend to be) just has to be with his girlfriend of more the 7-10 years & have two lovely children with her. I'm telling ya, I only have hope left with Gabriel Damon & Leon.

Christian, The Prestige, yay!!!!!!!!!! A must see for me. I think it was like written on my birth certificate "Must see every Christian Bale film" & so I must. Yes he's doing the Bob Dylan movie as well. And, I still only have hope with Gabriel Damon & Leon.....& now, James of course. Why are they all so much older then me though?! I'm closest to Gabriel in age. But, I'm going for James. Convinced I can have that man. God! Why are there all these hott men that are like...untouchable, unattainable?! Pssh, screw that, I'm going to dissprove those factors.

omg! THE PRESTIGE was amazing! Both Chiristian and Hugh delivered great preformances! YAY! XD. And I got to see Hugh shirtless!!!!!! XD
