I always saw Sawyer as a bad guy. I've never found his particular "sexy bad-boy" routine to be that sexy or compelling. Again, it works for a lot of other people, but I can't see it. I think they were trying to make him more sympathetic for a while, but now they're getting away from it again.

See I always saw Sawyer more as the not so bad guy who is snarky & mean to cover up the fact that he's just a nice guy....buy uh, lately, lol. I still don't think he's bad, I just think he's the kind of person to always only look out for himself. And yes, in the episode 2 weeks ago when he was coming out of the water I couldn't help but notice he's got love handles. I dunno, it just seems to me despite being stuck on an island he's actually gained weight since the 1st season.

Again! lol Yeah, Sawyer became the Evil Emperor...Charlie is Darth Vader. lol That last scene from last week was so SW and I loved it. I was like, "EWWWWWWWW!!!!! Sawyer squashed the frog!" Hahaha...gross. I love Sayid. Too bad he had to go back to torturing but I guess he got something out of it. I found both these scenes very disturbing - esp. the frog. I mean - hello - on an island - do you honestly think that a) there is only ONE tree frog in the whole place & b) you would actually be able to find it? Where's PETA when you actually need them?

lol When he squashed it, I laughed. Okay, that sounded harsh but I like animals so no worries. Rerun tonight. Still watching.

It was disturbing to me on several levels. First of all, helpless frog (should have tried to hop away) and Sawyer just being sadistic. Also, it was clear Hurley was worried about the poor little froggie that reminded him of a long-ago pet, and Sawyer knew it and was just being cruel because he could.
Personally I'd have liked it if the monster had shown up and squashed Sawyer. Now *that* would have been justice!

Someone in this thread mentioned "Unsolved Mysteries of Lost". Tell me about it!! I've made up a list of still-to-be-resolved plot lines, at: www.huntingforclues.net/unsolvedmysteriesoflost.htmlLet me know if you know the answers to any of these, or if I've missed any! thanks.

Oh, man, this is disappointing. Javi is leaving Lost at the end of this season! I'll miss his writing. Read it in his blog, here: chaodai.livejournal.com/

Yeah, I found out yesterday. I'm quite sad but I'm very glad there are still other incredibly awesome writers on the show.

True. I'm going to miss his writing, though. I like his sense of humor.

Ack! I didn't get to see it. A friend promised to tape it for me 'cause my TV isn't working. Mom's TV is working, but we ended up watching her show that's on at the same time. We saw about the last 2 minutes of Lost when her show was over. Oh well, I should get the tape in a couple of days.

Her house, her TV. Mine wasn't working through my own stupidity, trying to hook up electronics on my own. It doesn't help that I can't really see what I'm doing. I'm tempted to spray paint the various cables and wires, but there must be an easier way to see what goes where and is connected with which other device. I managed to disconnect the TV cable and didn't connect it again. There must be a dozen or more cables back there, all tangled together, going through a small hole in the back of the entertainment center. I don't mind spoilers if anyone wants to fill me in on anything particularly important.

Bizarre dream. Elijah Wood's girlfriend, Pam Racine, from the band Gogol Bordello, and the lead singer of that band were on LOST as very frightening, violent & vicious (more so than usual) vampires. WTF did that come from? I can't remember who they killed - I thankfully woke up quickly. Yeesh.

Bummer! It's so annoying to have a dream about a favorite show, and have it become a nightmare!
I did get the tape and had a chance to watch the episode. "Dr." Ethan = teh creep! And the dude who was criticizing Ethan, was that Locke's father?
