DETAILED SPOILERS AHEAD:
Okay, Ana-Lucia seduced Sawyer (not very difficult!) in order to distract him enough to get his gun. She wanted it to kill Henry, because earlier in the episode, when she'd gone to interrogate him, Henry ended up hurting her fairly badly. She needed stitches in her forehead. So, naturally, she figured he deserved to die. Sawyer wouldn't just give her the gun, so she distracted him. She went to kill Henry once she had the gun, but couldn't bring herself to do it.
There was a lot of boring backstory with Ana-Lucia meeting Jack's dad; she quit the police force and was working as a security guard at the airport when he was getting ready to take his flight to Australia (a couple weeks before Jack's flight, I believe). They met at the bar, talked for about two minutes, and he decided she should come to Australia with him as his bodyguard. He confronted some woman, when they got there, and said he wanted to see his daughter. She wouldn't let him, and A-L broke up the fight. Jack's dad didn't get to see his daughter -- no other info on that storyline. Then Jack's dad -- Christian Shepherd, that's it -- wanted to go to a bar and get drunk; they happened to be parked in front of one. A-L isn't interested. He starts to get out of the car, but the door hits some drunk stumbling by. We can't see the face, but as he yells at Christian, we realize it's Sawyer. I guess they met up later in the same bar, as shown in a flashback from an earlier episode.
Hurley wants to ask Libby on a date; Sayid suggests a particular secluded beach he took Shannon to. Hurley rambles about wanting to find a boombox so he can hold it over his head to serenade Libby, as in "Say Anything," but Sayid doesn't get the reference, and isn't interested in seeing the movie at some point in the future, as Hurley suggests. So Hurley and Libby go on a picnic, but he gets lost (heh!) and they end up back at their regular beach. Libby goes to the hatch to get blankets. Big mistake.
Michael wakes up, says the Others were pretty much a small band of pathetic losers who could be easily beaten if Jack & Co. would just try. Later, he and Ana Lucia are the only ones in the hatch, besides Henry. She tells Michael about Henry, says she wanted to kill him, but in the end she couldn't. Michael says he'll do it; give him the gun and he'll shoot Henry. She gives him the gun; he shoots her instead. He apologizes as he does it, as though that would make a difference to her. But it can't, because she's DEAD, idiot. Michael unlocks the combination to the room Henry's in, and poor Libby shows up, just in time to hear Ana get shot. Michael isn't happy about doing it, but he shoots Libby, twice. Then, when it looks like he's going to shoot Henry, he turns the gun on himself, and shoots himself in the arm or shoulder. Presumably this will make Jack, Locke, and other busybodies think Henry shot them all, and maybe they'll think he escaped. Which he'll probably do. Dunno exactly what's happening, but I thought The Others either brainwashed Michael, or forced him to kill whoever he could, in exchange for Walt. We'll have to wait till next week to find out more.
Other stuff happened in the episode, but it wasn't really memorable. Oh, wait. Just before Ana is ready to leave Australia, she calls her mom and tells her she's sorry, and she wants to come home. Mama says fine, she'll meet Ana at the airport. But, since it was Flight 815, Mama has had a very long wait, and will probably never know what happened to her daughter. I could almost feel sorry for Ana, if I liked her the least little bit, but I don't. So I'll feel sorry for her mother instead.
