Thanks for the info!! wow, look at that neck ... each new photo offers a new temptation! *sigh* He is just a beauty to look at. I can't believe I went 5 days without seeing his face.

News about James McAvoy TV appearances ..... James McAvoy is going to be on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on Monday, June 16th on CBS in the US. AND James is going to be on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Thursday, June 19th, on NBC in the US, promoting Wanted! Should be amazing, I cannot wait!! He was on Craig Ferguson before, and its absolutely hilarious and brilliant, its great seeing two Scots together taking the piss. Here is a you tube video of James on the show back in January, sooo funny! The Scottish Vacuum of Charm!* I just found out that James McAvoy is also going to be on Tavis Smiley on PBS in the US. The PBS website reports this show for the 20th of June, a Friday, where as a James news source reports it as the 21st of June, that Saturday. I am unsure which is correcet, probably whatever is posted on the PBS site. I am sooo excited about all these tv appearances in one week!!

Oh sam, just saw him on Jonathan Ross on youtube! He was absolutely divine, love when he gets up to show Jonathan his cellphone video! Tooooo cute! Links for everyone else of James on Jonathan Ross! James on JR part 1 James on JR part 2Apparently James was NOT on Craig Ferguson on Monday night as was planned, I do not know for sure why as I did not have a TV at the time, but I found an older clip from 2007 of James on Craig Ferguson that I have never seen and it is quite funny, so I'll link to that to make up for him not being on Ferguson on Monday. I am disappointed to hear this news, I really must research as to why he was canceled on the show! James on Craig Ferguson 2007Hopefully James will still be on Leno on Thursday and Tavis Smiley on Friday/Saturday

Oh My Goodness! I have never heard James speak in his Scottish accent before, and it is absolutely to die for! Wow, I could care less what he looks like (did I really just say that?, I meant his looks were peipheral at that point because the new attraction was his voice) as long as i could listen to him talk. Wow! Also, the whole kissing Angelina thing was hilarious, and the stunt thing on the phone was cute too. This man is just amazing! ;D

bookworm I cannot believe you had never heard James' Scottish accent until now!!! SHAME!! This means you have not seen The Last King of Scotland yet, you better get moving young lady! (wow, okay, I'll stop being extremely weird about what you do and don't do in your free time ....) But I am so glad both you and Sam are enjoying listening to him talk, it is truly a wonderful sensation, listening to him speak and tell jokes in his native accent! Heres more for you from this past week of TV appearances .... James McAvoy on Leno(verrrrry funny! James is adorable and charming and funny as usual!) James on Tavis Smiley Part 1 James on Tavis Part 2I did not have high hopes for the following interview as the Today Show is mostly rubbish but it was actually very cute and funny, thank god it was Anne Curry interviewing and NOT Matt Lauer, he would have made it so strange and awkward, well at least ... thats what I am imaging in my head right now haha .... James on the Today ShowDownload link to video of James on The Daily ShowReally great and laid back and sexy, haha, interview with James and Jon Stewart, I think my favorite of all the recent interviews! and THANK GOD, Wanted comes out this Friday in theaters!!!!!!!!!!! That should be one fantastic evening for myself!!! I LOVE HIS FACE!!!

I don't mind it at all. (after all, if this is torture, chain me to the wall! ) And no, I havn't seen the Last King of Scotland, it just never made it on my list...yet. If he talks like that, then I will definately have to see it. Also, how was Wanted, and have you found an online link for me yet? lol, but serirously, have you? My parents are sort of against any and all rated R movies, although I can legally go and see them, so I have to watch them at home, on my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Oh Wise and Wonderful Master of All Things James.

My dearest Bookworm, Wanted was WONDERFUL. Rating: A+, 10/10, FIVE STARS, Perfect!
Lets see ... how to describe it ...
- Bad ass - Intense - Violent - Graphic (in an awesome graphic novel way) - Sexy - Hysterical - Smart - AWESOME - Wicked
It is reallllllly worth it to see it in theater because of all the amazing special effects, intense action and fight scenes, James' GORGEOUS face and body on the big screen and for the high quality sound and image, but I understand if you can't really help how your parents feel.
Not to give you bad advice, butttt, I think it would be worth it to lie and say you are going to see Wall-E or something because the film is just soooo cool, BUT I totally understand if that is out of the question and I will be searching dutifully for an online copy for you. I'll probably be able to find a poor quality cam copy very soon which I will link you to but I would like to give you a better copy than that so I will be keeping my eyes on the look out for a better copy!
I saw it at it's first midnight showing last night in downtown Chicago (tons of the film was actually shot in Chicago which was really fun to see, especially when I could say, Oh, I've stood outside the bar James is standing by...) and it was soooo cool. The crowd was awesome, yelling, gasping, laughing, applauding, cheering, it was such a cool and fun experience. I think it is one of the freshest, funniest, smartest, kick-ass-action movies I have EVER seen with a twist at the end that I was not expecting. Even if James weren't in it, it would have rocked!
I am kind of confused about reviews for the film because they are either REALLY good or REALLY bad! I also get extremely mad when I read bad ones since most blockbusters completely SUCK, this was finally a good one, worth the money to see it, making the entire movie-going experience awesome. I recommend this movie over and over and over again, I can't say enough great things about it.
And as an example that the movie was totally awesome and that I LOVED it, I am seeing it AGAIN tonight at 10PM at a local cheap theater down the street from me! I'm excited, I am going alone and I am going to have a relaxing night, close to home with James!
again Bookworm, consider sneaking out to see the film, lol!! Its worth it! But I will definitely find you a copy on line!!

I just came back from seeing Wanted, too! I totally loved it! It was so badass, James was looking so fine, and the action sequences were so awesome and fun. There was also a lot of funny moments as well (like Morgan Freeman actually saying "motherf*cker"). I'll admit though, I was really torn over whether to see Wanted or Wall-E. But I certainly don't regret watching it.

Kizuna, soooo glad you liked Wanted! I saw it for a second time last night and it was still awesome, I found myself watching it with as much anticipation and shock as if it were the first time! Really thrilled you liked it and that you chose it over Wall-E!!!! I'm quite upset that that stupid movie is probably going to be number 1 at the box office this weekend when Wanted totally deserves it instead! But as usual America is mesmerized by pixar films (or is it dreamworks?) .... anyway, I won't rant ..... I am just glad you can help vouch for the awesomeness that is WANTED!!

I'm actually going to see Wall-E sometime soon. I really love Pixar movies (Toy Story, Cars, Ratatouie, etc) and it looks really cute. I don't blame it for being Number 1 at the box office; it's a lot more family friendly, so it's not suprising.

I can't really blame it for being number 1 either I just have an irrational dislike for pixar films and an insane James McAvoy bias. But you are especially right that Wall-E is in every way more family friendly than Wanted so the viewer base is vastly larger for it than for Wanted.
