I meant to post this awhile ago, I saw James' film Rory O'Shea Was Here, also titled Inside I'm Dancing. It was really good, I really liked it, it was funny, moving and SAD! It's amazing, James even looks good with horribly blonde, spikey hair! And he acts so well for being a character that is wheelchair-bound, unable to turn even his head. It's all acting with facial expression and the eyes and he does a great job. It is a really wonderful film though. The link I am including is to the complete film. I was given the link by a friend. The website is called Megavideo. I do not know too much about the website, but it appears to be similar to youtube, but with fewer, I imagine, videos. No downloading or anything required, just click play on the video, it will buffer and then I think you may have to click play again. It's pretty self explanatory. The video is not titled the film title, it does not even appear to be the film, but I promise it is. It took a kind of long time to buffer for me. I ended up clicking play and just letting it buffer COMPLETELY. Once the film was entirely buffered I watched it with no problems. When I tried to watch it before it was completely buffered it kept stalling and was really annoying. The quality isnt AMAZING but its really not so bad for a free film. So let it buffer, put it on full screen and enjoy! I hope everyone is able to access it and enjoys! Let me know if you have questions www.megavideo.com/?v=KW2FS368

Hey kaatopp, that picture you have for your signature, where is it from? I was just wondering if it was from a movie because I like the way he looks in it. I love the hat!

You know, I am not actually sure ashleyrose! I just found it in a google image search one day! For some reason I am led to believe it is a still from his new film Penelope, but I am not sure! If I could just go and see the film then maybe I could tell you but I am afraid I am detained with way too much school work, boo!! Anyway, keep loving James! heheee Goodlookin photo of the day .....

Ok. I don't know, just something about that pic I'm crazy about, the whole scarf and hat over the eyes, it's just mysterious and sensual look to it that I love.

Sorry for the obsessive posting today ... I am doing anything possible to distract myself from writing two research papers! And since its the weekend release of Penelope after it sat on the shelf for about two years, I am in James over-drive! I found about 8 trillion photos of James tonight, so I am going to try to be calm about posting them and save them up haha. This posts theme ..... really adorable photos of James and Saoirse Ronan (I really wonder how you pronounce her first name!!), who played Briony in Atonement ... At the Oscars ... How adorable is that? I have seen interview videos of James with children before (from Narnia) and he is so sweet and funny with the kids. I have a feeling he really likes children and younger people. I am sure he adored working with Saoirse. She seems really sweet, I am sure he is impressed by her acting talent. I thought she deserved to win best supporting actress at the Oscars. But I digress, I just think it is really fun and cute, haha, seeing James with Saoirse. Those photos are maybe the cutest images I have ever seen, I really love them!

Thanks for posting all these James pictures! I adore Saoirse. I'm definitely gonna try to check out Penelope - probably next weekend or the one after. Hopefully, it'll be better than The Other Boleyn Girl.

i dont know if anyone else knew this, but i certainly didn't: james mcavoy tried out for a part in 28 days later. he did a backflip for danny boyle. unfortunately he didn't get the part though. wondering which part he was trying out for, might it have been cillian's? in the interview he did mention that boyle asked him to do the backflip because he was trying to figure out how the zombies should move, so perhaps james was trying out for a zombie part? it would have been so wonderful if james AND cillian were both in 28 days! i'm still holding out hope that they'll one day work together...please movie casting gods...
on another note, word to kaatopp on inside i'm on dancing. even if james wasn't in it, it's still totally worth watching. but be prepared to weep like a baby. i must say the title and dvd cover of inside i'm dancing is way better in the UK. there's not even a scene where they all were sunglasses like the US cover and "rory o shea was here" is kind of a sh*t title.

hahah gogohorrorshow!! thats really funny, I totally agree about the film titles. Inside I'm Dancing is WAY better, and yes ... I did weep like a baby, like, for an embarrassingly long time after the film ended! It's so good though! I totally did not know that about 28 Days Later and James!!! It would have been really cool if he had Cillian's part (because I am so obsessed with him) BUT I love Cillian and think Cillian did a perfect job of course, its the film in which I fell in love with Cillian so I wouldn't change it. I just think it would be cool, if in another world haha, we could see James as the Jim character. I wonder if James was trying out for the character Mark, or one of the soldiers. I think if I could change anything, I would have James be one of the soldiers at the end of the film, that would have been very cool. I hope Cillian and James work together too! Cillian has worked with James' wife twice! And they each have worked with a trillion actors/resses that the other has worked with ... one day, hopefully one day!! James photo of the day ..... Sooo freaking hot, gahh

Kaatopp! I saw Penelope just yesterday night. It was an unplanned, spur of the moment thing. I went out to dinner with some friends after work, and we decided to go see it after eating. Anyway, I loved it! I didn't really expect to like it so much. Even my friends like it, and they aren't even fans of James McAvoy or anything. They don't even know who he is. It was very, very funny and very cute. Not the deepest or most thought-provoking movie, but that's why I like it. I like to watch a light-hearted movie now and then. James was really good in it. He was so adorable. I loved his American accent. His Scottish accent slipped in here and there, but it was better than most I've heard. I think he really has a talent for romantic comedy. All in all, I think if I liked Penelope, and I am not as big a James fan as you, then I think you'll love it, kaatopp! P.S. Don't see it alone, kaatopp! I'm sure your friends will enjoy it, too! Well, maybe not your guy friends... it's more of a girl movie definitely.

Rukia!! I am so excited that you saw it and liked it so well! Now I know I'll love it. Very surprising, being the die-hard fan that I am, that you got to it before me, haha! I have just been way too busy with school as my quarter is about to end! My boyfriend is visiting this weekend so maybe I will drag him to it, that might be cruel and unusual punishment, but ... we'll see. I think Jame's does really well with accents. He has done his native tongue Scottish of course, Irish, American, what you might call "regular" British, a very particular British accent for Atonement which he had to train to learn and maybe some rougher British, which you might find in Manchester or northern Englandish. I am not an expert, I just watch too many films and TV involving him haha. So anyway, I'm super super excited you saw it and now I really can't wait to see it!! Yayyyy James!!

yeah james is pretty good with them accents! i can only think of one other actor and that's christian bale who has really mastered accents as well as he has. and if anyone has ever talked to a true weedjie (that's a glaswegian, in case you didnt know) you'll know that the glaswegian accent is one of the thickest and hardest to understand! most my mancunian friends have just as hard a time as i (an american) understanding them. I have a feeling James has had to water down his weedjie accent ALOT in order to be understood by the american public!
