Not sure if someone has posted this yet but...

I personnaly didn't enjoy this movie. They changes/deleted EVERYTHING!

And they Left Murtagh for the last 20 minutes. It also was so short. They could have added 30 minutes and everyone would like it more if they had made it more origional.

I agree, Izzy, this movie was so horribly done that anyone who saw it probably doesn't realize how good the book is. I am a huge fan of the series, and was really looking forward to the movie. Now I am praying they don't do the second one.

So much of the basic structure of the story was changed for the film, I'm amazed they actually decided to keep the title, because that was not the book Christopher Paolini wrote.

The one "saving grace" (if it could even be called that) was Ed Speleer took his shirt off.

Lol, agree with you guys! I'm a pretty big fan of the books myself but only more recently, and gotta say I think they could have stayed truer to the book even if meant making the movie longer. I mean, the movie itself wasn't too terrible but I was so mad they left stuff out and changed a few things. Murtaugh is my fav character and he was in over half of the first book and in the movie he was hardly a main character! I gotta admit one of the only reasons I have this movie is because of Ed Speelers. That was probably there best move for the role of Eragon that and casting Rachel Wiez as Saphira.
