Last night's episode, the beginning of the season finale, will be repeated tonight (8:00 PST), and will be followed at 9:00 PST by the 2-hour conclusion. Very, very cool! Three hours in a row! Last night's ep was very intense, so I'm glad I don't have to wait another week (or the whole summer) for more.
ETA:
I did it. I watched 3 hours in a row of Grey's, and wasn't bored for a minute, even though I'd seen the first hour just last night. I had my doubts about some of the storylines in the first hour, but my faith in the series has been restored. God, I love this show! Though I also hate certain Very Distressing Developments. Damn evil writers. How dare they do that? GRR-ARGH!

omg, the season finale was amazing!
i can't wait to see what happens between meredith and mcdreamy. i can't believe them in the exam room. what were they thinking? i guess they let their hormones get the best of them.

I think if McVet finds out, it'll be over between him and Mer. I cannot stand that woman! I think she and McDreamy deserve each other. I think, aside from Alex, they're my least favorite characters in the whole show.
But you're right, the hormones won out over common sense, discretion, consideration for anyone else, etc. Makes me wonder if these highly intelligent doctors at least practiced safe sex? I'm betting not. Sigh.
I'm glad Burke's still around, and I hope he'll still be able to be a surgeon. I wish Denny had lived, but Izzie is going to have a world of trouble over the whole thing, completely aside from her feelings for him. Not to mention dragging her friends, and Bailey, into things, which could affect their careers as well. She'll be lucky if she only loses her medical license. If Denny has any relatives, she may be in for a massive lawsuit, too.

alex did show some compassion when he picked up izzie, but i'm sure it's not long-lived.
i hate what happened to burke and they way christine treated him was horrible.
i love the characters of meredith and mcdreamy until i found out he was married, then it all went down hill. you could tell there was this attraction between the two of them but by god he is married! and you are right about protection. i doubt meredith has used any with all her partners since her and mcdreamy broke things off. he should be worried about that.

Yeah, I was okay with McDreamy until I found out he was married. Separated or not, he should have told Mer. I was really upset with Cristina for treating Burke like that. He really does deserve better. At least she finally came around to a more humane way of thinking. I was surprised by Alex showing some compassion, but I bet you're right, and it doesn't last. I think he enjoys being a jerk. But I still love the show, and I love George, and many of the characters. Callie scares me, however; I think George should start to get a little worried. She strikes me as a potential psycho-stalker type, and George doesn't need that.

Tonight (Saturday) ABC is showing a re-run of the Thanksgiving ep, which I adored. To refresh your memory: Izzie wants to cook Thanksgiving dinner, but Meredith, Cristina and George are less than enthusiastic about it. George is forced to go turkey-hunting with his father and brothers, Dumb and Dumber. Burke comes to dinner with Cristina, and saves the day, or at least the turkey.
It's on at 10:00 p.m. PST, so I'm afraid East-Coasters have already missed it.
ETA: How annoying! Even though this is what was listed in TV Guide, what they actually showed was an episode of "The Evidence." Maybe they decided to burn off episodes they'd already filmed (I think that show was cancelled), but it's aggravating when they make programming changes at the last minute.

The new season starts September 21. The second season will be out on DVD around the same time. It will be airing on Thursday nights, at 9:00, though at the moment they're doing reruns on Thursday and Sunday nights.
Tonight they're showing eps at 8:00 and 9:00. It's the two part ep "It's The End of the World"/"As We Know It" with Kyle Chandler and Christina Ricci guest-starring. I guarantee if you watch the first hour, you won't want to change the channel for the second hour.

If TV Guide and Zap2It can be believed this time, this Thursday at 8:00 they'll be repeating "Into You Like A Train." It's one of the best eps of the entire series, and incredibly heartbreaking. Watch it if you can. The 9:00 ep isn't that great, though we do get some background on the Dr. McDreamy/Dr. Mrs. McDreamy breakup. And the viewers and various co-workers find out who McDreamy really prefers. I have to admit I loved that scene. It also has one of George's best lines.

I just got the first two discs from Netflix, and I watched most of the episodes back-to-back and I can't tell one from the other, so what was his line? George is by far my favorite character so far

It's when Mere, Cristina and Izzie are all talking about the guy Addison, "Mrs. Dr. McDreamy," cheated with. They're trying to decide on a name for him. Meredith finally comes up with "McSteamy." George is standing there looking like he'd rather not be hearing Meredith go on about yet another hot guy who isn't him. The line was something like, "Sorry, just choking back a little McVomit."

Ah yes! LOL Nice...
I'm almost half way through the 2nd season, but there's no way I can watch the rest by Thursday. Wait, I won't even be home on Thursday... Ok so I guess it works out. But if TV Guide is correct, then I can just watch it on Friday. Cool beans.
Gah, after watching this so much it makes House look really boring.
