But I always have to cry in the end when Frodo is saying goodbye - everytime I see it. And my friends don't understand the movies, they say the movies are to complicated and I always think: read the books you **** (not so nice word)

The Lord of the Rings is my life. I'm absolutely in love with J.R.R. Tolkien and if he were alive right now I'd seek him out and ask him to marry me. I know just about everything about The Lord of the Rings and read it everyday. If you find me randomly, I'll be carrying somethin Lord of the Rings on me. I'm writing a huge fan fic, but right now I hate it, so don't even ask me about it. I'd tell ya more, but I have to go...my school bell rang... ^^;; - Yosho-chan

I saw Fellowship 36 times in the movie theater ;D Okay, you win! I used to chat in theonering.net chatroom, and I met a girl from London who saw it 37, so I don't hold the record, lol.

Woah....but still! 36 and 37 are well....close. lol
I cry with all 3 movies. They're so beautiful.
Okay guys, I'm gonna give you some motivation. Just say "For Frodo" whenever you don't want to do something. Just think of all of the hardships and burdens he went through during the journey. I think it's GREAT motivation!!!

I saw it about 25 times in the theatre and countless times when it came out on DVD. I cry at all the movies as well, but I cry more at the end of The Return of the King when Frodo is saying goodbye to Merry, Pippin, and Sam. Have any of you heard of the musical Fellowship, it is a musical spoof of Fellowship of the Ring, it is SO funny.

Has anyone read the Harvard Lampoon's Bored of the Rings or online the Very Secret Diaries? Very funny stuff. Very Secret Diaires! VERY amusing! My faovirte diary would be Aragorn's. It's a shame she stopped writing them after the first movie came out. I love Lord of the Rings. I've been a huge fan ever since I read the books when I was in middle school (at least I believe I was in middle school at the time I read them, I may have been a freshman in highschool). Faramir is one of my absolute favorite literary characters of all time. Boromir is my second favorite character from the trilogy. I liked the movies and I thought that David Wenham did a great job portraying Faramir. Though, I was more than a little irked they messed with his character in the second movie, but the scene with his father in the third movie made up for it a little

Hmmmm. I think all of the characters are interesting. But a few I like the most are: Legolas, Arwen, Galadriel, and Faramir.
