It's all new. They show a "gold" goblin (Harry) and the new characters like Venom. So I'm pretty sure it's not something made up. |

No.... Harry's costume is not 'Gold Goblin'..... -_- It's actually more of a snowboarding suit.
Watch the official trailer again. NONE of the characters look the same - they are all from past movies. Peter looks more sickly than normal in the official one and Harry's hair actually isn't made up as it is in Spiderman 2. And look at Tropher Grace and the 'venom' crawling up his skin... the cgi is kinda poorly done for 2006 if you ask me. Plus, the Venom suit looks like a crude halloween costume from the 80's. Lol.
The bubbling goo is actually liquid adamantium from xmen 2.

My friend's mom works in downtown Cleveland and they happen to be shooting backdrops there and got to be an extra. Can't wait.
