anyone else love this movie?? I've actually only seen the first one...I can't bring myself to watch the others knowing Brandon Lee isn't in them. I'm the the process of writting a Batman begins the Crow crossover (never done a crossover before...havn't read many either so I'm not sure how good it is yet but I have to finish it or my best friend will kill me)

Yeah, I saw all the other ones (I ordered the 4th one on Netflix, but I haven't got it yet)
Without Brandon, they arn't the same. They are pretty much the same as the first one, just slightly different circumstances (the second his son and wife I think die, and the third his g/f dies) and some twists. Sarah returns in the second one, though it's not to same actress, and she knows its a different crow...if I remember correctly.
They arn't THAT bad...but if you do watch them, just forget about how great the first one was...

I know, it's sucks that he died so young...I did a report involving him and Bruce, my teacher didn't know anything about them and she was sad after reading it. I might watch them eventually, but I'm not going to rush to it. Can you tell me what happens with Sarah though....my fic involves her and I like to check chronology.

Did you know that people think the Lee family is cursed. They had a house in Japan, and over the front door was some amulet to bring good luck, well if the amulet falls off and you don't put it back up, you'll be cursed wtih bad luck. A bad storm or hurricane hit Japan and knocked it off and they didn't out it back on. I don't believe in that stuff but, its kinda weird to hear about it. That would explain Bruce's death, and brandon being shot.
The second one, The Crow, his son is shot and so is he and throw in the water. He comes back and considers to stay with Sarah, but he sees his son's soul and sarah dies saving him.
Third, "The Crow" the guy's girlfriend is murdered and he is to blame, after he gets the chair he comes back and with help of his girlfriend's sister.
Fourth, I don't no yet, I don't think any will match the first-ones greatness.

I guess for my fic it's just going to be from the original movie cause Sarah's alive and in Gotham....not dead.....but possible since she bumps into our good Doctor.

Loved the movie (original of course) saw it when it first hit theatres (5/13/94<--friday the 13th!) I was 13 1/2 (my b-day was in a couple of weeks) and let me tell you that I absolutely LOVE this movie (Huge Brandon LEe fan here**points to self**) Glad to know that people loved the movie and remember brandon's performance as well. as for a crow/batman crossover, my fiancee mentioned something like that awhile back, good luck on it!**waves**

Thank God Sarah is alive (and didn't know anything of what happened in The Crow:City of angels (godawful movie I say) and u say she bumps into the good Dr. Crane**thinks**this is going to be good!! as for the fourth movie (of the crow), just remember when watching it that it had to be done in less than 2 weeks (you'll see why....)

I can see Cillian as the lead in a crow movie (don't know why) but I think he can pull it off, with the make-up, shoulder length dark colored hair and his eyes (full of emotions and beauty, sorry got carried away) but yeah I can see him as a Crow.
any comments?!

I don't think that he should build muscle,
Brandon Lee was at least 200lbs before he got the role, he went down to about 160(?), They wanted Eric to be skinny (kinda like a guy whose in a band might look)
But yeah, Saying that Cillian can take over as Eric is saying a lot cause I'm a huge Brandon Lee fan.

Whatever you do, don't ever watch the TV show. It sucks to no end.

The first Crow movie is the best. Hands down. The second one, The Crow: City of Angels was bearable for a sequel. The third movie, The Crow: Salvation (was it?) I couldn't watch because it was so horrid. The Crow: Stairway to Heaven, the tv show, was interesting but it didn't have the same magic as the first movie. And, yes, finally they have a fourth movie. I have yet to see this but it might be something of worth than the last three attempts at reviving the magic. The books aren't too bad. I've actually read a few good Crow books, besides the Crow comic by O'Barr. As for Cillian playing a Crow-esque role, I'm not sure about that. I'm sure he'd do well but the movie plots for The Crow have been lacking over the last few years. Maybe he could save it....*ponders*
