it's based on a true story. it's about this women (charlize theron) who moves to this new place to get a better life for her family and she works at this mine and she and the other women get harassed by the men there and it's like this journey of her finding herself and standing up for what she believes in.
anyone heard of it or want to see it?

Yep...I saw the previews it looks like it's going to be a cool movie... Charlize will probably be up for an oscar....she's an awesome actress...loved her in Monster

I have definitely heard of North Country.... it got great BUZZ at The Toronto Film Festival and with such a stellar cast including Sissy Spacek and Frances Macdormand... I can't wait to see this film.... Maybe Charlize will pull a Hilary Swank.  |

This is a great movie. It's so sad and everyone acted so well in it. It's one of my favorite movies now.

I was going to see it because it is based here in Minnesota (Woot WOOT!) but I never did... I guess I'll have to go rent it. *Off to BlockBuster* Wait, it's 1am... *Off to Netflix.com* ;D
