I saw the new Will Smith movie, I Am Legend, and I was seriously freaked out. It's something like 28 Days Later, but with certain differences. I liked it.
Plus it had the trailer for The Dark Knight attached to it, which was awesome.

I also saw this & yeah, definite shades of 28DL. I thought it a very suspenseful movie & enjoyed it quite a bit.

I saw I Am Legend this past Saturday and I enjoyed it. I was a little disappointed in some spots. But, overall, I enjoyed the movie a lot. I loved the comedic moments in the film. Haha.

I hear there's limited use of music in the film like? It sounds intense. I really want to pick up the book before I see this so I can be like "pls, book wus bittuh." jk but really.

the book has similarities with the movie. but, they really don't have all that much in common. i mean... in the movie, will smith is a buff virologist. in the book... will smith's character is similar to that of an average joe. i suppose that if i read the book first, will smith's character would be kinda laughable. perhaps the other way around.

When I first saw the trailer for this a few months ago, I was like, "Pfft... a 28 Days Later rip off. Nothing can beat 28 Days Later." Then I realized it was based on a book, so I was like, "Whoops. Guess it's NOT a 28 Days Later rip off." It got pretty good reviews from the critics, and people who've seen it seem to like it, so I decided to go see it. It turned out to be okay - not great, great but not too bad either. It just seemed like another big budget, eye-candy movie to me. Lots of great action sequences, and I loved the look they created for NYC. Very amazing. Will Smith was great as usual - very charismatic and funny. All in all, great entertainment.

I LOVED this movie. I think I liked it more than most people considering I think its one of the best films Ive ever seen. I was totally blown away by it and it was incredible suspensful, creepy and intense.
I was just really surprised how good it was, and yes, the Dark Knight Trailer made it that much better! I can't wait for that one either!!

i wasnt really impressed. i mean the first one, The Last Man on Earth was so much better b/c it was real people as the "vampire/zombie"s Will did great, i alwayd love him but the movie wasnt great, if you saw Beowulf the movie, the main "vampire/zombies" looks like Grendal from Beowulf, just with a smaller head LOL, but the graphics were not great, i mean i might buy it when its 10 or 15 bucks but no more, but yea they could have done better.

from what I have heard the general consensus is that the film is good but not great.
I am in the minority because for whatever reasons I thought it was awesome. I can see how the ending may have been considered lame or disappointing, but that didn't really bother me. Everything else was just so awesome and Will Smith did such a good job, I was just literally speechless when it was over.

Holy Crap! I just saw this movie. It was not what I was expecting, and it is way different from the book (just trust the bookworm0. I agree with kaatopp, I really liked it, though. The scenes of Will Smith doing the exercises did nothing for the plot or overall scheme of the movie, but it was definately HOT!  |

i think one thing about this movie that made me cry was when Will and Sam was in the bath while hearing the "vampire/zombie" things, i was like OMG how sad!!! i would HATE that!!!
