The Langoliers...Not so scary now but i watched it when i was 5 or 6, scared the living daylights out of me! I also watched The Amityville Horror about a week ago....I am deeply ashamed to admit i had to sleep with the lights on. I think it was the scenes themselves that were scary.
I find movies scary when i can stew on them for a while, like still carry a memory of a certain scene and be freaked out. When i first saw signs, i didn't find it at all scary, but later that night a possum was on the roof and it reminded me of the scene where the alien was running over the rooftop *shiver*. I also had a well right outside my window and had to sleep on the couch for about a week after watching The Ring. I remember when i saw it at the cinema, me and my sister wanted out of there after the first 15 minutes, lol.

I forgot about "Closet Land" with Alan Rickman as The Interrogator. Very creepy, scary movie. He scared me to death in that, I couldn't even watch the whole movie without stopping it and going away for a while before continuing. I did that about 3-4 times. It was done by Amnesty International.

The Fog the old version by John Carpenter. That movie always makes me leave the room and do the dishes in the scariest parts - and it's not even a scary movie... It just gets to me.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake F*CKED me up pretty bad. I couldn't sleep for days because I kept staring at my bedroom door thinking a chainsaw was going to come slicing through it. It's one of my favourite movies, mainly because I love Jessica Biel's performance in it! I thought she was great ;D

Yess that's exactly how I am. I sit and watch it, think "Wow, this isn't that bad", but then later I imagine it happening to me, and I freak myself out. The actual movies aren't that bad.

Yeah, that can definitely happen! On the other hand, one time I was watching Pet Sematary, and I really jumped when my cat unexpectedly leaped onto the back of my chair.

That's happened to me. I was in the living room by myself watching Jian gui and a really suspenceful part was comming up, and my cat jumped from the top of the cupboard next to the chair onto my lap...I screamed for about 10 seconds!

IT is pretty scary, the part with the fortune cookies almost made me puke!
The 3 movies that scared me the most were: Candyman(with the bees, YUCK!) and psycho (old) because little Norman Bates scared me to death, and Saw cause it toyed with my mind. ;D ;D
