I was kinda hoping that Captain Jack and Naomie Harris's character would have a t'ing goin' on, but if she's just on hand to be FX-Makeup-Voodoo-Priestess-Plot-Point-Gal, that probably won't happen. Oh, well....

I can't wait for the 2cnd film!! As for Orlando & Johnny, love 'em both like no other. Been a fan of Johnny for years, fan of Orlando's since the first LOTR. Both are great actors, though I don't think you can compare the two, for though they may look alike to some(including me) but I don't think there's any comparing their acting or roles. Both are great actors in their own right & talented beyond belief, then of course their both drop dead gorgeous(even though Johnny's old enough to be my father). Love them both, adore the first film(saw it 12-13 times in the theater, no joke; have all the tickets) & I have no question the sequel will equal up to if not surpass the first one. I don't think the original cast would have reprised their roles if they didn't have faith in the script & the film makers. I'm counting down to July 7th & am determined to see it more then I saw the first one. As for the whole Will/Elizabeth/Jack love triangle thingy.....I personally like Will & Elizabeth because of the first one. But had Elizabeth ended up with Jack in the first one I'd be supporting them two instead. So for only the sake of the plot, I hope Will & Elizabeth ultimately end up together despite Jack & Elizabeths flirting methods, lol.

KISS OF DEATH? WHAT. I was kinda hoping that Captain Jack and Naomie Harris's character would have a t'ing goin' on, but if she's just on hand to be FX-Makeup-Voodoo-Priestess-Plot-Point-Gal, that probably won't happen. Oh, well.... I actually thought that for a few days when I first heard that Naomie was going to be in it... Then I just kind of lost that idea... That'd be swell, though.

ahh okay... in some places the junior novelization of DMC has come out.... and they do share a kiss in the book...right before jack *looks around* d i e s ! ah!!! did i just say that?!?! obviously, jack is returning for the 3rd movie, so he can't STAY dead. (he's Cap'n Jack Sparrow, duh!!) BUT whether or not this will happen in the movie (i hope not) i really don't know at this point. we'll just have to wait till july 7th..... :[ i've heard the junior novelization totally suxz0rs, though. there isn't much to be said about this in any interviews, so i guess you can't completely trust other forums. i've found a storyline on the novelization from a blog and i'm pretty sure this person didn't just make it up out of sheer boredom......plus this--rumor, i guess you can call it--couldn't have just popped outta nowhere. I repeat: There have been several reports about the 'kiss of death' or 'the kiss of ages' or even 'kiss that has been building since the day Jack and Elizabeth met'. I don't know if it is official for the movie, but as for the novelization..... MAJOR. SPOILERS. AHEAD. DO NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW! blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&FriendID=74490727&blogMonth=5&blogDate=11&blogYear=2006nevermind. i found another link to one of the fan-sites. it's part of the script. wherestherum.com/scriptexert.htmllook in the news section.

They're not gonna let Jack die. I mean, we already know he's in the 3rd one. lol But, I totally do not want a kiss between those two. OH MY GOD that will ruin it.

*Cheers* Kiss! Kiss!
Heh.
I don't mind if he dies... As long as he comes back.
Besides, if he dies and DOESN'T come back, that would basically kill off half the profit they make from the movie. Seeing as PotC is pretty much THE Johnny fangirl movie.

There's a very positive review of PotC2 right here: www.aint-it-cool.com/display.cgi?id=23694from Moriarty at Ain't It Cool News. He's one of the reviewers over there that I usually agree with, and he loves the movie. He thinks it surpasses the first, Captain Jack is even better, etc. He tries to avoid spoilers because he'd have hated to have some of the surprises ruined for him. I have a better idea of some of what's going on in the movie, but I don't feel like anything's been spoiled. He favorably compares it, several times, to The Empire Strikes Back, in terms of how some of the characters seemed even cooler in the second film. I can't wait to see this!
