I think, if I'm remembering correctly, 28 days later also made the list on AFI's "100 scariest moments". It was #100, but it made the list nonetheless!

yes. It was on Bravo. And come to think of it, I don't think they said it was an AFI thing, but I'm not sure! It got placed in the 100th place for the same scene though! The eye gouging one!

I know, I'm weird, but I didn't find the eye-gouging scene to be scary at all. Actually, I was so pissed at that soldier that I was *thrilled* when Jim gave him what-for. Just the thought of a mild-mannered guy going totally apesh*t for the sake of his woman...hottttttt. And I guess, being raised on horror movies, I'm completely desensitized to on-screen violence. So I have to admit that this is my #1 favorite scene from all of Cillian's movies (shirtless, dripping wet, playing the hero, how can I resist?).

Well, I didn't think it was sexy, but I do think that guy deserved it and the fact that Jim was rescuing Selena, that part of it was sexy. It certainly was a freaky scene though, very gore.
I absolutely love your sig quetzaltlaloc. Now that's sexy! ;D

I just love 28 days later. I thought the eye gorging scene was a little creepy. I turn the volume down.
