Another page full of reviews. Hopefully the link works this time. If not, cut and paste, and ye shall find. www.mrqe.com/lookup?Breakfast+On+PlutoGah. It doesn't work. But it takes you to a page for reviews of movies with "Breakfast" in their title. From there you can find BoP.

More new reviews for you: This one seemed more to me as if the interviewer had read the book and was crossing things from the book over into the movie. although saying that at the end kitten's life was getting better had to be more movie than book for sure. Sorry, not sure why the whole link won't work, but just copy and paste into a new window.www.calendarlive.com/movies/reviews/cl-et-breakfast2dec02,0,6483661.story?coll=cl-home-more-channels A short and not so great review of BOP: www.lacitybeat.com/article.php?id=2953&IssueNum=130A horrible review of both the movie and our dear Cillian (posted so we can all commence stoning this reporter, haha ): www.laweekly.com/ink/06/02/film-taylor.phpThose are all the new reviews I've found since Dec. 1st.

It seems like so much of a review is dependent on what the reviewer brings to the film. It's impossible for anyone to watch a movie without their own viewpoint affecting things, but it sure seems like a lot of the reviewers are seeing a different movie than the rest. They either find Kitten engaging, compelling, charming, sweet, etc., or shallow, shrill, flighty and in constant denial.
It's certainly not the type of movie that's review-proof, like Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire which would no doubt still break records even if every review panned it. Unfortunately BoP is the type of film that a lot of potential viewers will judge by reviews, before deciding whether to spend their hard-earned money on it. If they read a really negative review in a local paper, it may tip the scale in the wrong direction, and they'll decide not to go, and maybe miss out on something they might have liked had they given it a chance.
So why do I keep reading reviews, even the negative ones? Not a clue. I guess I'm hoping that each review will find something positive to say about the movie as a whole, Cillian's performance, or some aspect of it. Hm, maybe I'm more like Kitten than I thought. Move over, sweetie, there's plenty of room on the banks of Denial.

Lovely review, Ciaran! At last, someone who understands and appreciates the movie, and Cillian, and Jordan's message. Coolness!

This was what I was thinking as well, I was so happy to read this I had to pass it along. I've gotten a few other BOP reviews via email, but they were so horrible and I just didn't want to post any more bad reviews. Thought I'd give some positive karma to the film.
