Since I am so mesmerized by his voice, I thought this would be a fun thread! If you could choose for Cillian, what would you[/b] want him to narrate with his deep low sexy voice!? (for example: Jude Law narrated the movie: "Limony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events)

I think he'd do a good job narrating anything, really. ^^ And that's not out of flattery. I think he just has that kind of voice and talent.

I think it would be interesting if he narrated a documentary like that penguin movie Morgan Freeman did! OR an educational video!! Can you imagine listening to Cillian talk about drugs/sex in class!!? I may be 22, but I'd start to giggle like an 8 year-old!

lol, Ya. ^^ That's be freakin' hilarious.
Hmm, ya . . . A documentary would be pretty good on the guy. Intelligent and strangely sophisticated, I like that. *nod nod* I haven't seen March of the Penguins though, at least yet. I think I could see Cillian doing a documentary on early Europeon/English history, like the Restoration and Enlightenment period or the Romantic period . . . *shrugs*

Something about art would be interesting. but i'd agree with European History as well.
anything the History Channel might show not involving WWII or mechanical things, basically.

i think i'd like to hear him narrate his own project, like a day in the life of a random city. ya know, people watching, reflecting, chillin' with some homeless dudes. stuff like that. i'd like to hear his opinion on the mundane, everyday stuff. this was a really cool question, by the way.

I'd love to hear him narrate an audio book. I think he could do the multiple voices that are necessary for that kind of project. I wonder if he did do something like that, if he'd be more interested in doing something fairly contemporary (hey, the audio book for "Breakfast on Pluto", for instance!) or perhaps a classic. Okay, Shakespeare...anything by Shakespeare.
Hm, do you get the feeling that a book-on-tape/DVD of Cillian reading "Hamlet" would sell like hotcakes? A lot of actors do audio-books in between other projects, because they take a relatively short amount of time, and if it's a book they really love it can apparently be a lot of fun.
As far as narrating a film, however, a documentary would be nice; basically any subject he was interested in narrating would be good.

I could imagine him narrarating anything. Something with a bit of sarcasm, yeah. I loved his little narrarations in on the edge. Those were so funny.

Oooh, Shakespeare. I looove Shakespeare, but wouldn't that be awkward since it's a play? I don't think he has a big enough range of different voices to take that on.
. . . Ooh, I think it'd be cool if he did something that was by Edgar Allen Poe. The Black Cat, or something classic like The Raven.

There are some actors who can narrate books and play quite a number of characters. For instance, there was some thriller (can't recall exactly which one) narrated by David McCallum years ago, where he used 45 different voices, and was quite convincing. Jim Dale, who narrates the HP audiobooks, has voiced all the characters. A novel would be easier than a play, but I think it could be done. Maybe I have too much faith in Cillian's abilities, but it might be an interesting challenge.

Perhaps a Wildlife doc or some show on The Discovery channel.

He already did! Are we forgetting On the Edge?
He's a great narrator, hehe.
