Hi guys! I know this is probably gonna sound gay but I love the name Cillian. I think it's a beautiful name. I love saying it too! It just kind of rolls off your tongue when you say it. I'd never heard the name until I became a Cillian Murphy fan. It's one of the most beautiful names I've ever heard on a man. And it's perfect for such a beautiful man! Does anyone love his name and love saying it as much as I do? I'm sorry if this is a stupid topic or whatever. But I like talking about people's names. I dunno why. Anyway, talk to you later! ~LaTissa~

hee hee just a little bit bored. I was talking about him to my cousin and each time I'd say his name it made me think of how much I really like it. It's a handsome name. Yes, Naomi is a pretty name too. I like Jordan for a girl, and Ashayla is another one of my faves. My favorite male name is Sean. I love that name. That's what I would name my son if I ever had one. It kinda makes me sick now that Britney Spears named her son that. Anyway, just wanted to share that with you. Talk to you later! ~LaTissa~

Yes, Cillian has an awesome name, but as a person who gets her name mispronounced and mispelled a lot*middle name*, I would hate to burden my child with "Sillian." Poor Cill. My favorites names are Nikolai for a boy and Callista for a girl. Those might get mispronounced too, but I have a tendency towards less common names. I finally chose those because my mom said I had to name my kids something they wouldn't be tormented for. Oh ya, and if I ever have kids, the first one will have to have their first or middle name Sonny or Sunny, depending if it is a boy or a girl. I am a third generation Sunny *or Sonny *, so I must carry on the tradition!

I know what you're saying. I get my name mispronounced quite often too. It's Luh...tiss (as in "hiss")...uh. LaTissa. But I get LaTisha, Latissia, and all kinds of different mispronounciations. And a lot of people can't spell it, either. So I would name my children something easy to pronounce too. Jordan LaShaye is what I want to name my daughter if I ever had one. And Sean Christian is what would by my son's name. But of course it would have to be agreed upon with my husband too. I think those are pretty easy names to pronounce!! ;D ;D ;D Oh, I used to think it was "Sillian" too. But then I realized that Cillian sounded better so I figured that was how it was pronounced and I was right! And Cillian sounds a lot sexier than Sillian too. But it's still a beautiful name!! Anyway, this is kinda fun, talking about our favorite names. Hey, I"m easily entertained!! Talk to you later! ~LaTissa~

I just found out like last week that it was Cillian and not Sillian. Am I lame fan or what? I still call him Sillian, though (don't hit me!), just because I'm used to it and it's not like he's standing next to me, hearing me mispronounce his lovely name. This is going to sound totally weird, but I love flower names: Violet, Lily, Rose, ect. I think they're really pretty on girls. For boys I like the names Jack (and now Jackson, lol), and Erik.

LOL, I think 90% of people call him Sillian at first. I know I did. I actually yelled it out in a theater....so embarassing! I think I would like names like that, but I have a name that should have belonged to the child of the sixties, and os did my best friend, so I started to hate nature names. It all depends on what you grew up with, I think. I have a very plain name, ergo I love more unusual names. Same concept as opposites attract.

^I agree, I find my name pretty plain so I tend to like more unusual names. I know that we must name one of our sons Caleb (from my father's side, many generations of Caleb then John). I tend to really like Irish names, like Ciaran (as you can see) and I actually really like the name Deirdre. Just like the way it sounds. Cillian is a beautiful name though. Cmis, have you been watching Matrix (ergo)? Sorry, just reminded me of that.

Irish names rock. I love the c as k sounds...can't explain myself, sorry.
LOL, ciaran, no, actually, been watching Pirates of the Caribbean. That line of the Commador's about Jack..."No, the pirates who attacked left him in his cell, ergo they are NOT his allies." Something like that.

Cillian IS one of the best names and I'm not just saying that cause it's him. lol I've never heard of it before him, though. It's not that common and I love it. Whenever I hear someone say "Sillian," I go, "CILLIAN!" I just kinda blurt it out...hopefully, they don't think I'm being mean. lol

Oh, and another thing I love about the name Cillian is when you hear it, you picture the guy being handsome or suave. It's a very debonair-sounding name. It sounds sophisticated. And I do like how it rolls off your tongue when you hear it, like Peaches said. Oh, and I like K's better than C's too. My middle name starts with a C and it has a K sound to it. Correen. Anyway, I like Cillian's name. Very handsome. Thanks to everyone who replied! ~LaTissa~
