I have an important burning question -- is Cillian's hair red, and it's that he colors it brown and sometimes black?
....because in 28 Days Later, his beard is so red, it's like fire - and his stubble in other films comes through as red or chestnut also (see Red Eye, Intermission).
What say you all?
If he colors it, I hope he doesn't stop - because I love him with dark hair. It makes those blue eyes pop.
I just haven't been able to figure it out - I know some men have beards that are totally different color than the hair on their head, so he may not have red hair on his head - but I have noticed that it goes from deep brown/almost black to medium brown.
Yep, I know...obsessed much.

hah i think there might be an arguement about the colour of his hair somewhere around this forum.
I think what you're seeing is like a harsh auburn. I mean he's Irish.

A harsh auburn and it's colored for various film roles, darker -- like in Intermission...do you think Jackson in Red Eye was closer to his real color?

lol, yes...this will start some kind of debate around here....i think it's brown with a hint of red, is there a name for that...cause yeah, in 28DL, his beard is really red...

It's definitely a lighter brown than right now... I mean, look at his sideburns when they came through. Definitely auburn or something.

i'll bet he is an auburn...redish brown..not flaming red, but....he has the freckles too..and his eyelashes are a hint reddish in 28DL too....Its not fair that a man has those eyelashes..i do like him with darker hair though....soooooo gooooood looookin!!

There's only one way to settle this argument - pin him down and look in his panties!!!!
its probably brown with natural reddish highlights its like my hair - naturally medium/dark brown that looks mahogany like depending on the light.

LOLOLOL! No need to pin him down - I forgot there's always the opener of 28 Days Later!! You guys are right! It's uh...(ahem)...definitely not red in that scene (mcswooney fans self wildly). So maybe he is brunette, like clareywire says...'mahogany.'
