NO WAY!! That would have been really really interesting! I would have loooovvved to see him dance at the club scene in Germany!!

I'm an insomniac too blue-eyed struck......but the only computer in the house is in my parents room and they go to bed around 9:00 or 9:30 so I get kicked off and can't talk till the wee hours of the morning like I would if I had a bloody laptop.

I just checked out imdb.com - Jonathn Rhys Meyers is credited in Alexander, so I think that might be who you saw.

I love BiLB simply because I too am Indian and while my parents or background was nothing like Jess' in the movie, I identified with the movie because sadly, i do know people who went through what she did - having to fight for her dreams - and I got into a lot of trouble just like her..

And I remember at the end when she kisses Joe, I was cheering for them - he is ssssooooo cute and so gorgeous ...

So I was shocked when I read that CM had been considered for that role. I would have died!!! To think that a fellow Indian would get to kiss him (Indians don't kiss much, period, on screen, like that - we're fairly not quite there as a culture. We show worse things in movies but full-on kissing makes most of us uncomfortable).

WOW!!! Thanks helen, for pointing out that piece of info on one of my fav movies of all time.
I am going to go watch it for the millionth time and try to imagine CM as Joe

I don't think Jonathan Rhys Meyers looks like Cillian at all. His entire face structure is different, his eyes are a different color, he doesn't have freckles, his nose is totally different.

The only thing is maybe the lips. ;D

Anyway I loooove Jonny.

You guys should definitely check out some of his other movies. Especially Velvet Goldmine. He is amazing in that. And the movie is amazing.
