I love Cillian's look, his extraordinary face and his shining eyes, but sometimes I wonder if he's got a problem with food. In some scenes of "Sunshine" he looks very skinny with these distinctive collarbones. I know, he's a veggie. I also know that some roles demand low weight. But I really worry if he probably has a risky underweight, the more so as a man...

hmmm... I don't really know what to think. Yeah, he's really thin, but underweight? I'd have to know his weight and then find his BMI, but that's not happening any time soon so...

Cillian seems to be naturally thin. I have a guy friend that eats like a horse and he is so skinny. I imagine his whole family may be thin. I am only guessing of course. Cillian seems healthy to me. Other wise I can't imagine him being on the go so much. I think many people think veggies aren't that healthy. There is lots of ways to get protein. Foods like beans, nuts, tofu, peanut butter, cheese and alot more. So I think our Cillian is fine. like theatrewraith mentioned there is no way to find out his bmi without the proper info.

When I saw him for the first time I had a thought that he is too thin and maybe not really healthy. But now I think he is all right. He looks healthy.

Yes, I think each time I see him that he looks so FRAGILE. But in Sunshine he has very muscular arms... Well, I agree that he is a naturally thin person and as I am naturally the opposite, I guess we dont fit together ;D

Neither do we fit, I fear. But I'm relieved to read that you all think he's healthy.

I love his muscular arms in Sunshine, I think that for a vegetarian he looks allright. I wouldn't mind him to put on a little weight though... maybe he would do it if a character required it

Don't everyone hate me for this, but I've always been skinny and nothing I eat changes that. I think Cillian is the same way. Some people are just "greyhounds" - that's the way they really are. Sure, he could bulk up with a little more muscle, but I think he just doesn't care to spend that kind of time working out. Can't say I blame him, really...

Cillian is an avid runner, and runners have slim physiques unless they also do a lot of weight training to go along with it. But, if Cillian just runs, does the occasional push up and eats healthy foods, there's no reason for him to gain weight. It doesn't mean he's malnourished. He's pretty the way he is.

Damn, I hate you both for that (just kiddin ) Well, some really lucky people, actually it's even more luck if such people are women... just won't gain any pounds no matter what they eat. My sister is one of those, she took after my dad who won't gain any weight even if he eats a cow, and believe me he COULD eat a cow. It's definitely genetic, yet, no such luck for me

My first idea was the same, when I see this picture: But at new pictures, for example from sunshine-premiere he looks again healthy!! I do like thin men normaly, but the picture above is a bit extreme! there he is really to skinny I think, the face looks very bony ... this I don´t like ... But his body in Sunshine I´d like very much!*siver* there he doesn´t look unhealthy, rather he has an atlethic look! I think, he is one of the people who fast loss weight, if he do sports, the metabolism gets very fast ... But there seems to be no problem with gaining weight ... you can see it in the newest pictures ...

I think he looks sexy in that pic. Then again there isn't a picture of him I don't love. lol. I think some of the tops he wears are sometimes a bit to big on him. Because he is thin it makes him look thinner. Thats just my opinion. Cillian just seems to be a small person to me. I know he is very active but I never thought of him as losing or gaining weight. He always looks to be about the same size to me. I couldn't agree more about how wonderful he looks in Sunshine. Although I can only go by pictures. Sadly

Well, I've read that he'd lost weight to play Kitten... And as we can see in Sunshine , he's gained it back

This is what I meant! ... his weight is probably adapted to the diffrent characters!! The pic above is from 2005 ... after acting in "Breakfast on Pluto". I also read that he lost weight for playing this role ... nearly every actor lost and gains weight to play different roles ... and as long as it isn´t so much like Christian Bale lost for "The machinist" it will be ok! (Christian Bale in "The machinist" is really spooky!) Another point is the closing .... I´d agree to hedwigsdal and there actually isn´any picture I really doesnt like ;D but in this one above the face is to skinny for my taste ... but anyhow the body is sexy like ever! Oh, I have seen it few minutes ago that sunshine will be released in United States first in september ... I´m really sorry for you!!!

Christian Bale in the Machinist... Now, that's risky underweight. He was terrifyingly skinny in that movie, it got me sooo worried
