I got into Cillian because of the character scarecrow. My brother being a batman fan told me that the scarecrow was going to be in the movie. So i went on yahoo to see who was playing the role and thats when i stumbled upon beautiful Cillian. And its been awesome ever since.

Nice - Guess that answers my question!!! Apparently we're all Crane-afflicted too.. I actually stayed back for the credits during BB to find out who he was - and god, how much I was teased by those ignoramuses I call friends when I told them I loved "Sillian" Murphy in the movie (Yeah, I called him Sillian at first.. () And I agree with Fosforito (Alex) he is a little too boyish looking in some movies, which is why when I saw his Sunshine project pics recently (long hair, loose t-shirt, chest hair...) I was .... hhmmmm our man is growing up. Which is why I wonder what he'll be like at 40, being like a fine wine that he is. I don't know whether to drink him all up now (he's a tall drink of water, no??) or wait a few years and let him "age" some more.....

Orange - you're here and you love Cillian. I think that pretty much gives you a backstage-pass to everything going on here!!!
But, yeah. BB comes out on DVD 10/18/05 and if you want to check out what the hell we're all babbling about, take a gander at Dr. Crane's pics on this forum or at Barnes and Noble in the BB memoribilia book.

Hey! So am I the oldest one in the group here? (with almost 31?) But I do feel fine with the age difference - and I still can grow up and also get old with Cillian, so I think I´ll feel fine when I´m getting 40, LOL Dr. Crane you know what? Fosforito, no, you're not the oldest here. I'm 45, so I feel slightly (only slightly) odd about being attracted to someone 15 or so years younger than me.
I still need to see BB, but have it pre-ordered. I saw Cillian at Comic-Con 2004 and he intrigued me enough to want to know more about him. I had 28DL on video for about 6 months before I watched it, though, for some reason thinking it would be too gory. After I saw Red Eye, I had to start tracking down everything I could find.
What's really amazed me is I've really enjoyed everything I've seen him in. Sometimes I even forget he's in the movie till he's on-screen again, because I get so caught up in the story. That's never happened before...most actors I've liked, while they do some really good movies, have a lot that are difficult to sit through (boring, juvenile, or just a waste of celluloid). So I consider myself lucky that not only is Cillian a fine actor, but he does the kind of movies I want to see.
Favorite character? Probably Rippner, then Jonathan Breech. I also like Pig way, way more than I should.

you have noo idea how close he was to me location-wise! (I didn't go to it), but I kick myself to this day because of the fact that I hadn't discovered him yet, and I could've gone to it! URGH!! so so close!
sorry, bit off topic, but I had to let that out!

And when we are like 50 we can say to our children (or friends) that we have known this handsome actor for years, some of us even before BB! And they will get so impressed! But I really hope that he stays down to earth and don´t get lost in the Hollywood clouds...
