Does anyone of you know? I'm really curious. Is it an irish word? And what about his bro and sisters names?
Please tell me or give you opinions.

I just looked it up on babynames.com and it's Celtic/Gaelic and it means war. I'm not sure about his siblings though.

I had to go look them up. LOL!
Both his sister's names are Irish. Orla means Golden and Sile means Youthful. I couldn't find a meaning for Páidi though

I think my name, Cindy, came from the nickname Cynthia from the Greek goddess Artemis.

mine - Elizabeth - means close to God ?? umm.. ok
looking up names is fun! thanks for the idea lemonade
I guess names don't mean everything though because I mean Cillian isn't very... harsh?? I guess haha I mean I don't know him but he doesn't really scream WAR AND STRIFE to me.

No, but strife could be sort of. Maybe not in English, I don't know, but tranlated into Dutch it can be also explained on a good way.
I think it's pretty cool that my name is after a nickname of a greek goddess, wel atleast I think so. My dad says he came up with my name cause he heard it in a song of the Beatles. I never heard the actual song. Iwonder if it even exists but still, if it's true it's pretty cool since Cillian likes the Beatles. ^^

I love looking up the meaning of names too. I thought this was funny; My best friend's name means "powerful ruler" and his last name is King so it fits.
My name means "downey-haired and youthful" which suits me perfectly since people think I'm younger then I am and I get compliments on my hair.

I used to have this pen with several meanings of my name but I lost it. Somewhere in this house is also a small frame with in it the meaning of my name in the form of a poem. I wonder where it is, it used ot be on my room but it's in this ugly violet colour I have traumas of 'cause my mom always tried to put me in uggly dresses in the same colour when I was very young. I'm since about a year recovering from my trauma of dresses, I always got forced into them... xD
