WHOW! Even if you took an actual picture of him and used Photoshop to make it look like a drawing, it wouldn't come out this good! Great work! (will give Cillian Bar as soon as I'm allowed!)

Am I the only one with a critique? I feel like a *mumble mumble* . . . Anyway, advice, from artist to artist. If you're going for straight-up realism, it looks a bit sketchy, as in scratchy and such (as opposed to odd or weird). Try blending the pencil strokes more for a smoother texture. Also, he seems a bit . . . ehrm, flat to me. The picture comes off somewhat two-dimensional and cartoony because the value range is actually pretty low. You've got lights and darks, but not too much of inbetween, you know? Develop the value more, even if it looks like it's too dark - The best value drawings have a full range of value. . . . And I can't see as the picture's too small, but his eyes, pupils specifically, look odd to me . . . I don't know the picture you worked from by heart, but his eyes appear to be looking in two different directions . . .

Ah, nice. You might want to deepen the values like Latikono says, but I'm impressed that you tackled this difficult view. It's hard to draw faces from strange angles. Good job.

Peaches- were you talking to me? Sorry, not sure and don't wanna feel stupid if you weren't. If you were, thanks. I already changed it, but there are about 30 I just found that I am eager to use. They're all so pretty and shiny! *sigh* I still love this pic. I wish I could draw. I think I'm going to try, but I'll probably hide it away. The only good picture I ever did was of Natalie Portman, and that was given to someone else, so I think I am doomed to suck at art forever. More power to the people who can draw.
