I have said this elsewhere, but I don't want Cillian to win. I'd love it if he were nominated - it IS about damned time!! - but actors tend to peter out after winning.
Cillian has a lot more movies in his lifetime, I am sure - I'd rather see him just be acclaimed than worry about winning an Oscar so soon.
Of course, should it happen (him winning) I will get a crate of Dom Perignon from somewhere and toast myself sillyy!!!

God, he's such a brilliant actor! i think he's viewed as an underdog for winning the oscars and I always root for the underdogs anyhow, so I desperately hope he wins!! BTW: "Slimming down and dressing up for the role proved easy compared to paring down his eyebrows, which have grown back. "They were pretty sore," he says, wincing." (laughing) awwww! wincing!  Don't you just want to kiss him for that!!? |

i hope he will win.. do u know what date oscar award is? It´s sunday, march 5, next year. And I also came across this on oscar.com: "Calling All Red Carpet Fans! Starting Sept. 19, 2005, you can enter an online random drawing to be a fan in the bleacher seats on the Red Carpet for the 78th Academy Awards." |

Today, 09/13/05, Roger Ebert at Toronto 2005 Film Festival says that one of the possible nominees for an oscar will be:Cillian Murphy for "Breakfast On Pluto." Everyone is praying for their guy, let's pray for ours.

After I saw Cillian in Batman and Red Eye, then proceeded to rent every film he has ever been in. I made a prediction to my self that he will be nominated for best actor within the year. After reading the review about BP, it only verified my contention, that Cillian Murphy is the best actor on the planet. IF he keeps this up, which he will, he will have nominations year after year and who knows win a few Oscars back to back. He will set records.
