SQUEEEEEEE !!! Finally something new from you, Cait!  Like always I really LOVE your use of colors !! That's a talent of its own and you are mastering it brilliantly. Especially I like that combination of these warm, almost HOT colors with tiny bits of cold colors. It's really like Rippner himself! Hot and cold and sexy! LOL I have to say I kind of like that slight "female" touch of the main Rippner image on your artwork. These red lips and thin eyebrows... I know, Kitten eyebrows LOL. Being a fan of his natural eyebrows of course I do have to admit that in ceratain shot's in the movie these thin eyebrows are even seeming to intensivy Rippner's stare. Especially in this scene that you added to your artwork as well, where he grabs that arrogant man's arm and looks at him with this icy stare !!! *shudder* SO sexy. As always I'm stunned about the way you create your artworks. I still can't figure out how you are doing this. LOL But it looks bloody neat and beautiful!!  Thanks for creating, and CB! Thank you so much Bloody Rose and Zombiekitten!! I'm so glad you like it, I'm always so afraid that people won't like my fanart! Like always I really LOVE your use of colors !! That's a talent of its own and you are mastering it brilliantly. Thank you so much Zombie, I'm learning a lot about colour theory and I find it so interesting. I love it! I love the hot and cold sides of Jackson, too, and it does make him INCREDIBLY sexy! He is such a unique villainous character - I'm sure he was meant to be hated, but it's impossible, he is just far too captivating. I would get stockholm syndrome with him!! Oh my GOD, I love the scenes where he has "Kitten eyebrows", haha! It changes Rippner's face completely, and you're right, it really intensifies his icy stare. I have never liked the Kitten eyebrows on Jackson, lol, but I love this fanart, Cait!! I always love the way you utilize color. , Very bold and striking!! Thanks for sharing it with us!! ;D   Edit: oh, and... is there any chance of your next fan art being another Leon one...  I saw it again today (last time on the big screen... sigh) and he's really on my mind. GAH. |

Thank you, Pisces! Yes, his full eyebrows are of course preferrable to the thin ones, lol! I wish I could have gone to theatres to see In Time again, but I didn't get chance to! Now I have to wait. *sigh* In the meantime, though, I will see what I can do about a Raymond fanart. I just need to find out which images to use! |

GOOD LORD PISCES !!!!  I was nearly shocked as I scrolled down!! Shocked in DELIGHT !! OMFG This looks actually like a real screencap from a movie, it is THAT flawless !!!! I know one thing: I WANNA SEE THIS MOVIE, RIGHT NOW !!! LOL No really, this fits so darn WELL! This just has to happen. He looks SO good! that sweet stubble, these stringy bangs, that perfect fitting hat, that LOOK in his face, in his eyes. Awwwwwww.... How did you come up SO quickly with this?? You were just speaking about being inspired by Bloody Roses fic, and now there's already a finnished artwork there!!! Not only that you came up so incredibly quick with that, it is even the perfect background and clothes you found for "Blue Eyed Jack" !! Oh Pisces, you have envisioned that thought about Cillian being in a Western so vividly and beautiful and goddamn fitting that I don't want anything else to be his next projekt than a Western. That artwork is SO lively that I actually can imagine the whole scene, the sound, the action around that still... Oh the movie that's going on in my head right now... *sigh* Pisces, this is one of my favorites of you! Oh Jesus, but it is leaving me yearning for wishing so hard to see him in a Western !!! CB !!! So well deserved! ;D

Thanks, Zombie!!! I was honestly struck by inspiration after reading Bloody Rose's fic.  And I realized that I had a Western to work with - 3:10 to Yuma - and that Cillian might look a whole lot better in Russell Crowe's clothing. And he did! I was afraid he wouldn't look rugged enough, but my fears were eased as soon as I brought in a shot from Perrier's Bounty, lol - he's MORE than adequately scruffy. From start to finish, it took me about an hour. If the stuff I have to work with is right, I can do a fan art pretty fast; because in the lab I used to work in, we had stacks and stacks of work, so we had to be quick about it. LOL. SO excited that you liked it that much!!! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! |

His hair DOES look good under that hat! UNF!! I was a little worried before I started it, because I thought, What if Russell Crowe's hat doesn't look good on him?? You know how certain hats look good on one person but not another.  So I got some screencaps of Christian Bale too, in case that happened... but I really wanted to use Russell Crowe's outfit for him, because A) It's black, and that's sexier, and B) Christian Bale's clothing was shabby and brown. And luckily, Crowe's hat looked freakin' hot as hell on Cillian. The one thing that really disappointed me was that I didn't get to use a scene from inside the saloon. I remembered that there was a part in the movie where Russell Crowe went into the bar; what I'd forgotten was that he took the damn hat off as soon as he did it, lol. So... no saloon scene.  LOL. |
