This is my first realistic portrait of Cillian that nearly satisfies my. I managed to do it after tons of tries and errors and sketches... He's damn difficult to draw!! Its almost impossible to capture his unique look and his beauty on paper... But its much fun, too, I can tell. My pencil loves every curve of his face... I dont claim to have captured him perfectly... There 're still a lot of mistakes. But my mission to draw him his not over yet. Yeah!! Btw: I hope the pic is not too big. Tried to make it smaller, but it always stayed this way....

And the second one. Which I think is better than the other. Ohhhh... I just love those screen caps of Capa where his face is lit by this beautiful cold blue light... Couldnt hold back to draw one of it. This drawing would have been wonderful with colours!! But I was a bit afraid that I might srcew the pic. So I stayed with the much easier pencil drawing. (Sorry if my English sounds weird... Its not my mother tounge) Well... I hope you like my art. There will be definitely more fallowing. Maybe it gets a life long mission to draw Cillian Murphy... ;D

Thank you so much, Jess!! First I have to say that these two pics are just the "final product" of lots of "research" on Cillians face and scetching and trying. You should have seen my first tries... horrible... It didnt really looked like him. So practise is very important. And about the media: I used a soft pencil (B) for this. And I have to admit that I cleaned up some small mistakes like flaws in Photoshop.

Wow, zombiekitten, you are an amazing artist. I think you drew him perfectly, especially Capa. His hair and jaw-line are perfect! I can only do computer type art, but I can't draw to save my life. I'm so envious of people who can draw because I would love to be able to draw Cillian! Awesome job, I've given you a CB! PS. Your English is good, don't worry about it.

You are extremely talented Zombie! Those are so life like, it's like looking at a black & white photo. The detail in the hair in both pictures is unbelievable, and his eyes- you've got them perfect. I'd love to be able to draw like that. Have a second CB from me, i can't praise them enough!

Thank you so much, Cait. For the CB and your kind words!! How nice of you!! I am really thankful for this talent. So I can express my love for Cillian in a special way. It's almost a way of getting close to him... capturing the features of his face...
