LOL... that one in the bottom row, in the middle.... looks familiar... ah yes, it's from my fan art called Cold Day in Hell. Can jusssst see his finger where it was holding the weapon... LOL. Always amazed how my stuff gets around the web! I can remove the icon if you wish. Edit: Just re-found it. It was over at fanpop. Again I had no idea it was a manipulation, otherwise I wouldn't have used it to make an icon. I'm really sorry! I'll modify my other post and delete it. I guess you could take it as a compliment in a sense, as it's a very well-done manip!  |

We've already been in contact with the fanpop people about this - they have quite a few of my fan art images without my permission and NO credit given whatsoever... (equally irksome is the fact that they categorize them as images of Cillian, when they are at least in my addled mind, images of Rippner specifically, lol) of course, they have answered my concerns with dead silence. I didn't know my images have roamed as far as people's photobucket accounts, though. (puts head in hands...) I know it is a compliment when people steal it, but it's still somehow distressing when I encounter my work elsewhere online without props given. LOL. But in your case, Cait, no worries - you at least altered the image (only I would have ever noticed what it was), so please don't feel the need to remove it. I like your work, and you honestly had no idea - you didn't take the image from my site.  |

That is exactly where I found it, in the images category.  What's worse is that it's the users who upload so there's no control over anything. Thanks for your kind words Pisces, but just because altering someone else's work is something I'm against myself, I'll keep the icon for personal use only. PS. Something about Rippner's cold and calculating glare behind a gun is sexy... hahaha! |

Hello! I just wanted to ask if you have to give credit to the creator of the icon if you pick your avatar from this thread? Do you have to ask for the creator's permission first? My other forum is pretty strict about this stuff and members usually credit the creator in their signatures. The icons here look really cool and I want to change my avatar, but I don't know about the rules here. |
