wel, live journals are a great source, the LJ people are very talented and usually make very good ones. but there are very talented people on this forum too. you can try and post a request in this section for example  |

You just need to upload a photo onto a site like photobucket and copy the IMG tag into the sig box on your profile.

photobucket hates me, I tried two or three times to open an account there but never managed. they don't want me there LOL
just in case, there's imageshack too (that's what I use) and several other websites, for that matter.
