How do you take stills from the video?

Open Windows Media Player.
Go to 'Tools', then 'Options'.
Click the 'Performance' tab in the menu.
All the way at the bottom, there is a adjustment bar for 'Video Acceleration'.
Set that to 'None'. And you're good to go.
