I remember something Keanu Reeves said once to one of his co-stars. I can't remember who it was or what the movie was, but before he and whoever was playing his love interest did their love scene, he said (paraphrased), "Please don't take offense if I get turned on. But also please don't take offense if I don't." I imagine a lot of actors and actresses have those awkward moments.

I would think it might be even more awkward if the actors felt no attraction towards one another, but had to film a very intimate scene. I guess that's one reason they call it acting.
