I wish i could write like that.. that was really nice, cmismyxanatos... And i'm not just saying that [because deep down inside I'm depressed.... MY BOYFRIEND BROKE UP WITH ME!!! *bursts into tears*] I'm saying it because it's true... about crane... I'm sorry you're upset, but I am SOOOO glad you liked it!!!!! I needed some feedback on that, I was depressed about that. I hate my poetry class,

*Bump* I love poetry and prose, so please keep sharing Woo, go me i can ryhme. I apologize in advance... It's a dark hour, watching the milk turn sour. It's a red shower, in the corner I hide and cower. I think i have died, maybe i should have tried. He just sat and cried, i knew it was wrong to lie. Another dream left shattered. collecting dust like it never mattered. All the hopes scatter, all the pretty girls just get fatter. Today is like yesterday, except the angels went away. Today is nothing like yesterday, yesterday never fades.

hey gutterflower, that was a nice poem! I just discovered this thread and that's cool 'cause I also write poetry. I prefer to write when I'm sad, so the poems usually end up a bit sad... but hey. Here are two:
It's Okay Today
It ’s okay today Let’s sleep for a while and pretend we’re in love Should we wake up and face what’s above? Us in the mirror, you somewhat nearer Let me touch you on the glass Cold and distant yet so familiar It’s okay today Let’s sit and drink some wine We toast to ‘everything’s fine’ Let me feel you smell your scent Like I’ve never done before I know this should be the most familiar But it’s not, not anymore
But never mind this anyway I think it is okay today Isn’t it good how it feels tonight? The way we drink wine in the moonlight? How we sit here pretending to be That we don’t know that we are free
Let’s just stretch this for a little while If you walk a tile, I’ll do a mile Just a while, yes, just some more And wait till we know what we’re here for
But it’s gone to be okay now, Yes I think it’s fine When you won’t ever go away now No, you’re forever mine
Picture
There was a picture of you And I locked it up in my head I threw away the key And there was nothing more to be said But then fate found me Unlocked my head and took you away So that you could be free It said that you weren’t supposed to stay

Oh dear god I'm wiriting again..
Waiting for a Miracle
You see thousands in a day Fire to water as Spring to fall A lair of lips laughing, eyes smile Isn’t always enough When will the hands of time bring me mine?
Purest touch Cherished smile So simple and sublime Waiting for a Miracle
Hear of hundreds living the dream Earth to air as winter to summer A young heart beating and skin feeling Really isn’t enough When will you wake up, begin to see
Purest touch Cherished smile So simple and sublime waiting for a Miracle
Only wanting one little thing Spirit to flesh as beginning to end A chest aching this heart longing All I only want When will you feel and fall into me?
Poisons touch Bitterest tears So simple and unkind Waiting for your Miracle
