They're okee. But they really overplayed "Mr.Brightside" tooooo much. It killed the song for me. ohh my god, same. maybe this is unfair but the media kind of killed the killers (ha) for me- they're EVERYWHERE and i just get sick of all of their songs really fast. but i guess i shouldn't talk- i haven't listened to their CD and it's probably good...i'm just saying, they're wayyy overplayed.

Yup. Now they're already 'killing' their new song "All These Things That I Have Done". Makes me sad. And funny thing is that I think I know where they shot the video at since I used to live in Vegas. XD

"Are the killers any good?" that’s like asking if the sun comes up in the East ;p I hated them at first but then my friend wouldn't stop shouting "Andy you're a star!!! In no bodies eyes but mine" then I liked that song after a while he moved on in the CD and I discovered a number of other wonderful sounds.

I was in the car yesterday and my brother left it on a radio station that he thought I liked and a Killers song came on. I think it was them, do they have a new single? I can't believe I'm going to say this but I kinda liked it.

I LOVE the Killers.
I love Brandon the lead singer and how he always wears suits, eye liner and swaggers when he walks.
I love Ronnie the drummer and how he reminds me of Animal from the muppets when he plays his drums.
I love the 13 other songs I know that AREN'T on their hot fuss CD because I'm that big of a fan to actually hunt down 13 of their other unreleased songs.
I need help.

I only like a few songs too...but I love the lead singer's voice...I think his name is brandon flowers. I listened to some song clips and they just sounded strangely 1980s-ish...maybe it's just me.

i really like the Killers... i wouldnt call them alternative.. they're more "pop-rock" i have their cd and really like all but one song, which the lead singer just sounds like he drones on... i saw someone mention Green Day earlier.. therye good performers, actually i saw them in April too... i got into them because my best friend is as obsessed with Billie Joe Armstrong (the lead singer) as i am with Cillian.. haha
and britt06- they kind of are 1980s-ish, but i really like 80s music, so i guess thats why i like them

Ditto on the 80s music vibe - love it so I love The Killers. I think the entire album is fantastic and miraculousy I never got sick of All These Things That I Have Done - even after all that airplay. I know that can happen though. I was so sick of Vertigo a few years back that I could barely stand to hear it anymore. I still don't like it now. On the other hand I never got sick of Beautiful Day. Go figure.

I liked them when they first came out. They overplayed mr.brightside way too much and I ended up getting really sick of them when people kept singing it over and over again. I think that's just what made me really annoyed when I kept hearing that song. Other than that, the songs on their album weren't bad, I quite liked a couple.
