My reason for having left has to do with a war between some people that I am caught in between. By leaving I thought I was being loyal to some good friends, but once I left, I realized that in doing so, I was leaving behind some equally good friends here and it wasn't fair to them. I also realized that my friend's war isn't against the forum in general and just pray that they don't feel this is disprespecting them or being disloyal in any way. I just prefer to remain neutral in this as I have before. I want to stress that I would never take any action because of any kind of discrimination: age, religion, culture, language, skin colour, sexual preference, etc. Something I truly dispise is discrimination or prejudice of any kind. Hey, I used to be young and personally, I still don't think I'm over the hill yet (although I'm sure there's a clear view.) I say that people's differences are what makes them beautiful. Although I did want to create a big impact, I wasn't looking for any additional drama, so my apologies for having caused that ripple. I'm just missing the way the cm forum used to be, something I hadn't seen in a while. So...can we have a group hug and try to get back to that?? I think another *meow**bird**whip**welcome* chat session should be in order soon just to let the crazies out. (ok, not too soon - I go back to work tomorrow - let's say...weekend chat session?) Thank you so much tanya and blue, you helped more than you know and I truly appreciate your comments. Remember I said I'd donate my cillbar stash to ya blue? lol, so uh...97 cill bars are in order for blue - that could take a while. *tosses out a few to various peoples anyway* And sorry sandy as I seemed to have turned this thread into exactly what you were talking about. So...peace and craziness all around? hmm...I've got coffee and pixy stix hanging around here somewhere and a lot of duct tape left over from that sun taping experiment. Sound the trumpets!!!! Welcome home, love!

Oops, sorry Kaylee, I forgot to reply to your message. Nah, no worries about helping out. The donating the cillybars thing is more of a joke, although I've been in this really giving mood lately, so here have a cillybar on me just for asking to help out. ;D *throws a long pass with a cillybar to kaylee* Oh, you're Canadian too? Woot! Canuks rock. aww...thanks for the warm welcome Tanya! ;D Ciaran. glad to se you are back, because that could have just well, crashed everything. I'm with paddykitten as I don't really know what's going on, but to some degree, this place is a little more than a forum so I get how it could get fustrating. I'm just really glad that the issue isn't age and the plan ISN'T to ban the under-21 croud *beams* you guys still love us too! I'll help with donating some cilly bars to save time if you'd like? just tell me where they're supposed to go.

It's kind of sad. I mean, you can't say that JUST because you're under 21, you're going to be a completely idiotic, immature kid. And even if you are, there are still people over 21 that are the same way. I hate it when people discriminate with age difference. This is a vague insult to a certain forum I will not name here, but for which I am apart of and love, but I feel I must set the record straight. The age limit is not discrimination of any kind despite what you think. The age limit is partly in due to the large amount of fluff posts that are generated here by the younger members here on the forum. Because on the other forum we wish to have more serious discussions and less fluff posts, which younger members tend to generate, we posted the age limit. Yes, there are some very mature young people and we admit that, but how can we make an exception and then choose to exclude others? Also there is some mature content on the forum as well ... over 21 fiction, content, discussion and so forth. So the age limit is not discriminatory, but to maintain the quality of the posts over the quantity of the posts and to maintain the spirit of the forum in which it was founded.

21 and over? Weird. Never heard of a forum for that. Why not 18 and older? 18 year olds are considered adults and most don't make stupid fan girl posts.

What the forum basically was going for were adults and 18 year olds are still teenagers I believe within the founders' conception and I must say we only have one 21 year old and the rest are older. I guess the same logic might be said about drinking ... why not allow 18 year olds to drink .. but only 21 year olds are allowed because they're considered adults by that age. I must say with 21 and older the forum has a much different feel with more serious discussions taking place ... which I believe was what the founders intended and wished for. This was the reason for the age limit, not to discriminate against younger members.

Discrimination: To make distinctions on the basis of class or category without regard to individual merit
Ah, see, I think that fits this situation perfectly well. You're being stereotypical, and saying that we, as teens, are composed of lower quality spam posts than people over the age of 21. Regardless of the fact that some of your dear members have, in fact, participated in these "fluff" discussions before. Besides, writing stories about your own personal sexual fantasies involving Cillian's characters is just as fluffy as people joking around. It's just a twisted version of playing "Make Believe", if you think about it.
So, yes, being an immature, low quality teen, I understand that we (As a whole) can, occasionally, be a fluffy, perhaps airheaded type of bunch. But, when it comes time to "serious discussion", it's not as though we bust in with a fusillade of "LYKE ZOMGZ Nooo wayyyyyyyy! Hehe CiLlIaN is so shexyyy!" Albeit, some may. But, it's not exactly hard to ignore, and all it takes is a simple nod from a mod to get it to stop. I know none of "us" would ever disregard a suggestion or message of complaint from other people, especially a mod.
For the record, I'm not making some insane attempt to somehow bash your forum to get everyone to boycott it. No, I just take offense when people discriminate (Yes, I said it again.) against me and my peers, just because we're under the age of 21.

I respect your opinion but be it as it may ... look around this forum and look at who does the majority of the fluff posts. Most of them are the younger members. For this reason we posted the age limit. I see I cannot change your mind Blue but I ask you .. do you find Women's Clubs being discriminatory against Men or clubs concentrating on a certain ethnicity (Polish-American, Italian-American, etc) as being discriminatory against others? The same can be said about certain groups that are for teens or seniors ... are they too discriminatory? Do you discriminate against senior citizens when you hang out with your friends? Certain clubs, forums set certain rules by their founders to attract certain members and maintain a certain atmosphere.

Azina was never banned. She decided to leave in response to fosforito and mici being banned. She contacted me and told me that it was her decision to leave.
So, there's a needed clarification.
---
I have heard rumours started that Azina was banned. So, that's what I was clarifying. Not what was previously posted about Alex (fosforito). It came off as confusing, once I read the posts in sequence.
