Their new cd takes a while to get into but I thought it was alright. My fav song's "Love Like Winter" which is probably the poppest song compared to all the other screamo-ish tracks.

Okokokokok!! Haha. I just went to one of their concerts this past Friday. It was absolutely amazing. Let me tell you the entire story in a nutshell...then I shall share pictures. :-)

Met my friend Brandon from the Internet. Stayed in line with him at front. Met tons of awesome people. Smith (AFI tour manager, practically a member of the band) pokes his head out of the door to say hello to everybody. Got to barricade next to Brandon. Dear and Departed (opening act) bass player flirts with me. Got free Sick of It All (another opening act) CD. Saw an absolutely fantastic performance by AFI. Davey (singer of AFI) crowd walks. I'm feet away. Don't touch him. Make eye contact though. Concert ends. Crew member throws set list into the crowd and I get it. I spot one of Hunter's (AFI bassist) picks on the ground too. Buy a shirt. See Smith (tour manager) again and exchange smiles. He was two feet away, basically. Meet Adam Carson (AFI drummer). Get a picture with him. Say goodbye to everybody. Leave. Discover makeup stains on back of set list along with strand of long brown/black hair. Guess who was obviously handling set list. Answer: Davey. The end. Now time for pictures...
