Iconic U.K. music show Top of the Pops probably wants to take out Franz Ferdinand frontman Alex Kapranos after he pulled a foul stunt while taping an episode featuring his band. The angular post-popper shocked producers when he ripped open a buttoned-down shirt to reveal a printed Tee with "Franz f*cking Ferdinand" scrawled across the chest.

Show creators said the naughty under pinning will be edited out before the taped performance goes to air. The clip will be one of the last seen on the illustrious show, as it will be axed at the end of this season, ending a 42-year run on air.

I think "foul" is such a harsh word to use. I mean, other artists have performed worst stunts. *shrugs*
